So maybe I missed the memo and made the mistake and deviated from ordering just another broken egg... component Nooooo I had to be craving a darn Southern Crabstack with Seasoned grit cake & jumbo lump crab cake topped with a shrimp & Andouille saute (I opted out becuae I dont do pork), garnished with red peppers & green onions, served with garlic French bread and seasoned country potatoes. The description sounds amazing like a flavorful masterpiece but seeing as I dont do pork there was something certainly missing from this seemingly perfect meal. The crab cake was decent nothing to twerk about and the grit cake was a bit gritty for me and not buxom in flavor like I expected. But nevertheless the fault was my own because the andouille saute would have been the key component to set the entire dish off. The cinnamon roll was enough of a redeeming appetizer. It was flaky on the outer layers and nice and gooey in the center. Worth the cheat! Service was a bit slow due to the kitchen being backed up. Our server informed us of the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. There was a bit of a wait to get seated when we arrived both both of these incidence went without any disturbance to our overall dining experience. Overall nice place but menu wise they dont not have many Vegetarian/pescetarian options.

(May 2017 re-review) FOREWORD: If youre looking for a GOOD breakfast spot in Burbank - Google search a Diner that is on San Fernando Blvd. It starts with "H" and rhymes with "Fairies." Back to review- There is always a stupid rediculous wait and no reservations allowed so no way to avoid, unless you want to get up early. However all of that is negated by the fact that this food used to be good but theyve revamped the menu. Revamped apparently means to remove several key items which made this place stand apart from others. Now youre getting diner food with fancy descriptions on the menu. "Farm to table" eggs (swimming in shortening), "Farm to table potatoes" (somehow simultaneously under and over-cooked) "Farm to table artificial sweetener" (everything comes from a farm and, in theory, ends up on a table). Just because you write fancy descriptions and then throw "farm to table" somewhere in there, doesnt negate that its mediocre food with high prices - no thank you. If youre visiting the area so your self a favor and go to the place mentioned above. Food is good and prices arent stupid, plus it isnt located in a bank and it has some history, unlike Another Broken Egg, which only has crowds because its easy to find and it used to be worth those stupid waits.

A fun breakfast spot with both indulgent and fresh options, outdoor seating, and usually not much of a wait. Service is friendly, but not typically fast. Still this is a great spot to stop as long as youre not in a hurry! So the coffee is worse that usual diner coffee - way too strong and acidic - and this coming from someone who considers bad coffee a staple. The cinnamon roll French toast is a gooey mess of decadent sweetness, but not in just that sweet-on-sweet-on-sweet gross way, its packed with flavors and has got to have more that a days worth of calories in it (still worth it). Best part: its good cold the next day. I couldnt finish it, took it home, #bam so good out of the fridge. You can also get almost anything sweetened up "bananas foster" style, do it. The fresh scrambles are good also, fresh veg and fluffy eggs. But seriously, get that French toast.

I had over an hour to kill in the AM, so I decided to grab something to eat. I looked up breakfast places on google maps nearby listings and this place showed up. From the pictures, it looked like it was an actual cafe, but upon arriving, I realized it was a chain restaurant. Im not against chains, just an observation. The food itself turned out to be really good. I had a black bean and chipotle hollandaise eggs benedict. It was delicious. The country potatoes were good as well, nicely seasoned. My friend had another variation of the eggs benedict and a waffle. Also well liked. My only gripe with this place is the pricing. There was no none appetizer entree under 10 dollars. My entree was I believe about 11, and most others went for 13 to 16 dollars. The food was thankfully good, but the price is just too high in my opinion.

My favorite breakfast restaurant in Burbank! Plenty of great choices at a decent price. Good mix of local diner and chain restaurant feel. Servers are friendly. If you go with a group, get the biscuit beignets or baked brie delight to share. If you are not very hungry, the blackberry grits or city grits appetizers are both good for a small meal. Any of the signature benedicts are good for a meal, but I highly recommend the crabcakes cavallo (crab cake eggs benedict!). The Popeyes skillet is wonderful. Any of the brunch items (Southern crabstack, shrimp n grits, huevos rancheros) are great! Anytime a lobster dish pops up as a special, I recommend you jumping on it before it disappears.

The staff was extremely friendly. There wasnt a wait.. we did go during the week though so idk how it is on weekends. Their country potatoes are amazing! I LOVED the eggs benedict. Cooked to perfection, thick piece of ham on a buttery English muffin. That hollandaise sauce though. Nom. The mr. Had over medium eggs with amazing sides. One of his eggs was a bit under done but still good. Great options for hot sauces. (Which we didnt even need) the coffee was on point and our cups were never empty. Parking structure right across the street. Which didnt make you pay so that was nice. Such a good experience. And the place has a ton of seating, including outdoor. Will def be back!

Took awhile to be seated and there were lots of empty tables but figured they were probably short staffed on wait staff so better to wait a bit first then at the table. Waiter had great suggestions for my shrimp and grits which didnt add to the cost but flavor wise was amazing! But right when we were needing refills no waiter was to be found for ten minutes. We told the front servers and still took another ten minutes before we got a refill. Dont get the belgian waffle it barelu qualifies but everything else was amazingly tasty.

This is just a great place to come with a late breakfast date. The first time I went, I had the biscuits and gravy; it was pretty good. Where the food really impressed me was when my friend and I decided to go and share the cinnamon roll french toast and the huevos rancheros. It was the perfect sweet and savory combination. Our waiter was real nice to us, mostly because my friend is real cute and sweet. The only thing I would really complain about is the fact that it takes a little while to get your food.

$34 for breakfast for 2 people!? Add the well deserved tip and now its $42!? Ridiculous given the fact that a gypsy family of 4 was harassing everyone on the outdoor patio (which has a lot of loud street noise) and a few minutes later the restaurant manager fed them for free on the patio! Guess I should have followed suit. They also flaunt that they buy their food from Sysco the company that was recently busted for storing perishable food in garage storage facilities in San Francisco! Skip this place.
