"Good Neighbor"hood restaurants are getting harder to find these days... I was in the area one day, 13 years ago, to do business & asked some1 where I could get good pancakes, he referred me here & Ive been going ever since. The wife of the "couple" owners, only neede to ask my name once, and I was amazed that everytime I went back,whether in a week, or 2 mos., she called me by name. Ive been in the restaurant bus. for 35 years & have a great appreciation for being able to go to eateries where you feel like you are part of their "family".

Love this place! 1. The food is really good . Compared to other places in the area I find the food to be much better (my favorites are their perfectly cooked eggs - with their delicious and simple home potatoes - and their fluffy pancakes). 2. The staff is so very friendly, helpful, and very attentive to the customer. 3. Prices are very reasonable. We have been in the area only a couple months but we are already pretty much regulars. Im counting on being able to have brunch at Good Neighbour every weekend for a long time!

Betty and Rick are gratuitous host, their children and long time employees see to your every need. Just saw Tim Allen walking in last Sunday. Also spotted Danny Glover, Heather Graham, Josh Lucas, and many more. Hungover...ask Rick to cook you up a Mimosa. One of my favorites, although it has been discovered by the stroller crowd and can get pretty busy by mid mornings on weekends. Love IT

Beware: The online menu prices are $1- $4 cheaper than the real menu prices. The french toast was way overpriced considering it was extremely bland. Pita pocket was literally smothered in sauce to the point I couldnt even stomach it. Toast and jam was the best part of the meal. This is your typical crap-food-for-high-price diner. I honestly cant believe this place is so popular.

Cosy Restaurant, Comforting Food Good Neighbor Restaurant is a fab find! The ambience is cosy and friendly. Food is good. The split pea soup which came with my Tarragon Chicken dish is especially delicious. Portions are rather big. For those with smaller appetites, you may want to consider sharing. We didnt and couldnt finish the food. Overall, very satisfied.

The menu was too big , I ordered Taragon Chicken, too less for the price. The dish was OK and wasnt extraordinary. They charge $2.75 for a coffee cup. my dish was supposed to come with a soup or salad , but they were out of soup in the first hour of opening . Not that pleased with the experience . The servers and owner were great but food wasnt up to the mark.

Wow, so good! Were visiting LA for the next 10 days and stumbled on this place on our first morning for breakfast. Everything was sooo fresh, so good. Bacon was incredible, both the pork and turkeys. Cant wait until tomorrow morning for more! Also great, friendly service.

Was a customer for years and its not like it used to be. Service was bad. Had to ask for coffee refills and steak with my eggs was supposed to be Tri Tip. It was not for human consumption.. It was dried up cardboard. Will never return again.

Its like local/cozy version of Dennys or IHOP. I went there to get breakfast. Was crowded, but the servers were helping and rotating pretty quickly. They were very nice, too. Very cozy and comfortable place. I liked their food as well.

WOW!! No doubt one of the best breakfast places in LA. If you are near studio city / Universal, have to go here. Great menu, incredibly fresh food, great service and the price is Cheap for LA. The size of my omelet was huge.

Good homey environment. . Food was average, except for the pancakes, they were terrible. Prices are good. Location is not that special. I recommend this place only if youre near that area and youre looking for a quick breakfast.

Good food, breakfast burritos are great, blueberry pancakes - wow!! But when the check comes.... $5 for a side of bacon, $3 for a small OJ... NOT family friendly for park visitors. Might as well do the buffetat the hotel

The staff is very attentive. They have decent prices at a very accessible location. The parking lot is a little hard to get into. Its a nice diner with good options. The food was good as well.

Not crazy about this place. My wife and I ordered 2 cups of coffee, and a small bowl of fruit. The bill was $14. The atmoshere is a diner, so I am a little confused about their high prices.
