We went to Sunrise Cafe last Saturday on our way back to San Diego. This place was recommended by my cousins who are locals. Its located in the corner of a small stripmall. Not hard to find. Plenty of parkings available. Quite colorful inside. Seems lots of customers are local. It was lunch time for us so I order Philly Cheese Steak and Clam Chowder. My husband order the BLT and French fries. The servings are huge! On colorful plates ... my plate yellow, my husbands plate green. The food are quite good. Not too greasy. I liked the clam chowder! Plenty of big clams inside! I had to boxed half of my sandwich to go. Normally my husband will eat what i cant finish. Not this time. His lunch filled him up, he just couldnt help me out! My only regret is that I forgot cell phone so couldnt take any pictures. Well, I guess we just have to come back and try breakfast next time! The price is decent, good food, cheerful waitresses AND plenty of parking. What more can one ask!

Ive come to this cafe twice. Its a refreshing cafe tucked in the corner in Buena Park. The one thing that makes this place special is that they are super fast and the employees are always coming around, making sure your well taken care of. You can be sure to be attended to every couple minutes if you need something. When you order, Id be surprised if you had to wait more than 5 - 7 minutes for your order to come out. Its a pretty efficient operation. Ill note that this isnt a breakfast diner where you can have a calm quite morning reading a book and ruminate on your day. This is more of a family, bustling diner where people are coming and going.

Honestly, everything was great! The server was attentive and friendly even though it was slightly busy. The food was really good, too! And the place was clean and even with the busyness, it wasnt loud. There is free wifi and restrooms available. I ordered the corn beef and hash with potatoes, OE eggs and wheat bread. Soo full! And it was quite scrumptious. My dad had the popeye omelette and my bro had a breakfast burrito. They both said they enjoyed their too. Best part is the kids meal was amazing size for their really good price! You dont find that often. Been here for lunch before, came now for breakfast, totally would come back again!

Biscuit and gravy is awful then you have the can corned beef hash which is not cool and the service was just okay but when I left I said thank you to the owner and he looked up at me and said nothing and turned his head and started tending to other customers I just think that was very unprofessional I do catering so I know how good it is to have a rapport with your customers if theyre coming to your place and Im going to recommend them to anyone else

The server was very sweet and always made sure we had our coffee cups full. My son order the breakfast burrito and was really happy with his selection. He had to bring half of it home. I on the other hand ordered the juevios rancheros. The refried beans were cold and bland. The pico sauce over the eggs was cool. So my breakfast was not hot. It wasnt even warm. Ill go back and try something else and hope to get a hot meal.

We yelped this place before spending the day at Knotts berry farm and were happy to see they opened early. We got there around 8am and it was already starting to get busy as we sat down. I had the Waffle combo which was a good size portion that came with the one belgian waffle, 2 eggs any style, and bacon for under $10. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito which was huge and came with potatoes on the side.

Ive had good breakfast experiences ordering the pancake combo and substituting for French toast. Today I tried an omelet. It came with home fries, aka potatoes, which were unseasoned and bland. It also came with toast. They served the toast with a very small amount of strawberry jam. There was no option for other jellies or jams, and not enough for the two pieces of toast.

Great little american diner with a mom/pop shop feel to it. I think the owners are Chinese, but that doesnt really matter. The food is great and prices are very good. The breakfast menu is gold here and cant really go wrong with anything on the menu. I usually get some kind of omelette, like a denver or chili. Doesnt get too crowded but I usually do takeout.

Stopped by for breakfast with my oldest daughter. If you didnt know this place was here, you might drive right by. Pleasant surprise for sure. The restaurant was nice and clean, staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful. And, the breakfast was great. Highly recommend this place. I will be returning (even though I live roughly 40 miles away).

Cute little place located in an unassuming strip mall. Tastiest bacon Ive had in a long time. Also had some pretty awesome granola pancakes made with fresh blueberries and bananas. Jack, sausage and mushroom omelette and home fries also really tasty. Best part was the fresh squeezed OJ.

Like the other guy said, GET THE BANANA PANCAKES!!! All the food is amazing though. My gf had the Portuguese Sausage and I had a veggie omlet with home fries. Freshly prepared, great portions and not bad on the pocket book ($28 for both of us with a pancake each). Eat here!!!! Now!!!!

We found this little cafe on our Disneyland vacation and it is a little gem. The service was friendly and efficient, our food came out fast and it was delicious. We all got their pancakes, which were amazing. I would highly recommend this cafe for a delicious brunch!

I havent even started to eat yet. I am waiting for my food. Ordered Denver Omellete w cheese. I rated 5 stars because they have Farmers coffee!!! And the waitress; Melissa is awesome super friendly! Btw, they serve breakfast until 2pm scoring extra points for that.

Got there at 7:15 this morning (Oct. 24th) and the first guy was just going into the cafe, but it was not open. Needless to say with false advertising of business hours I went to Del Taco in the same parking lot and got excellent service!

Food came out cold. After having to place my hand on the cold hash browns to prove my point, waitress never even acknowledged us after that. Just wanted hot food. Not even a coffee top off by her.

The eggs Benedict were fairly good other than the hardened egg yolk the English muffin was mushy. My partner had a really good omlete. The atmosphere was nice for a breakfast place.

Visiting from out of state and wanted to find a mom and pop breakfast spot to try. It did not disappoint. Delicious food, great portions, and didnt break the bank. Highly recommend!

Great food!! The Corned Beef Hash & Eggs were really tasty, home fries made it complete. Cinnamon French toast was EXCELLENT & service was fast & awesome. My new breakfast spot!

Nice comfort breakfast and lunch restaurant that offers homestyle cooking. Both food and service are excellent. Banana pancake is so yummy, but their omelets are also great.
