H-BBQ spot is similar to most other H-BBQ spots... Typically, I order the seafood mix which comes with: By default: 1. Rice (two scoops) 2. Mac salad (one scoop) 3. Some cabbage. I think its for decoration or to buffer all the nasty stuff like fat or extra juices. Seafood Mix: 1. Scrimps (three pcs) heavily battered. the shrimp is puny. 2. Mahi (two pcs) Very good, i like this the most 3. Meat - I normally pick teri pollo. The portions are huge. The plate can be heavy. All this for $9 and $11ish with soda. The mac salad is a hit or miss. Sometimes its awesome, other times its just mayo on a stick. The fried foods are good and the teri pollo is highly under-rated. Ive also had the katsu which isnt my fav here. The galbi, spare ribs, is decent. Not overly seasoned which is my preference. The beef just sucks. Spam musubi is good here but my mom makes a killer musubi so paying $4 for two pcs of musubi is no thanks. Hope this helps. Happy grubbing peeps. IG: @cigarcpa

Ive been to Hawaii and have consumed the native food there. I have also been to many, and I mean many so called Hawaii BBQ places in California. But this particular one IS the standard at which all "Hawaiian BBQ" joints should be judged by. Please know that I have absolutely no affiliation with this particular place and so I am NOT biased as some are. The owners of this location have another location... In case you were wondering.. And please note that there are others with the same name but are imposters. You can tell by the "katsu sauce" and the "macaroni salad". But you know what? If you dont wanna come here, better for me because I dont have to wait so long in line. Sucker M.C.s. Peace out beotch.

Usually get food to go from here. Today I ate here at the store. As I was waiting in a booth I started to look around. The floor is disgusting. Do they mop? Its 11 am and Im the third person in here and the front to of the house is sloppy. Interesting. I scanned around, noticing the booths. Nothing in here gets cleaned. There are cob webs, dried food particles, dirt, trash around and inside the booths. I wonder what the health grade is? I think the food is good, but now I wonder if I should even eat here?

I Ordered to go and I was the only one in here, I should have realized it would be that good if the place was empty at lunch hour. I ordered a roll and edemame and it was terrible. Also, this place is very very dirty. Bummed I wasted my money here.

i am from the islands, maui, and i recently had to stop and check out the maui hawaiian bbq, their service is ok but the menu, sucks, hawaiian haoli food and the windows inside suck, very dirty, and poor restrooms. that is all

Awesome Hawaiian BBQ joint! There is no one else that cooks the meat better -- Ive catered and ordered several times to receive rave reviews. The other Hawaiian BBQ place that I really like is Ono Ono in Tustin.

Not bad. Not offensive at all. But no different than the other hawaiian fast food joints... The Loco moco meat is a little dry and gravy nothing special. Katsu was a little short on actual chicken

Visited this location a couple times. Love the Teriyaki Chicken bowl. Chicken is nice and tender. The restaurant is always clean and they have always been friendly.
