Ive been coming to Nepenthe for years but there is a looong wait to get in on a clear day. Cafe Kevah has arguably better views and you can be munching and watching the soaring condors while your Nepenthe-bound peers are fidgeting in line. The salads are good and you get free refills on your coffee. On the way out you can wander around Nepenthe (yes, those ARE the SAME folks waiting to get in) or browse the Phoenix shop downstairs. Please take care leaving the driveway so as not to put a big, embarrassing and potentially fatal dent in your road trip.

Incredible views, great food, and a casual vibe make this a great alternative to Napenthe if youre after brunch or an afternoon coffee. With options that include a decadent French Toast and a wonderful house special Eggs Benedict (with Dungeness crab) its the perfect place to enjoy a lazy brunch with some of the most spectacular views you could hope for. They also do coffee and cakes / pastries if you want to sit back, relax, and soak up some nature.

Excellent crab benedict and apple cider. Pricey but so worth it. Little bit of a drive, but the crab is plentiful, the eggs are nice and runny when split open, and the hollandaise isnt too salty. View is excellent, and I loved sitting there at 0800 in 50 degree weather with the warm sun. Seating is only outside, so definitely dress in layers.

Ran across this restaurant on my way to Oregon. The view is top notch. Wish I had more time to enjoy it. I wasnt impressed with the food. Ordered the meatball sandwich. It wasnt cheap. They charge for that view. But everything in this area seems to be expensive. Stopped to get gas and it was almost $6.00 a gallon.

Outstanding veiw, we came there quite random around 5pm, and i dont know if we were lucky to get a seat(inside) maybe some w8time out on the terasse. Food was not expensive!, and it tasted good =) Try their tomato-soup

They were closed- they really should be open more hours so that people have a better choice to the overpriced pretentious food served by its sister restaurant just up the stairs...

Every year or so we drop by...but not anymore 4 coffee or espresso. Both of our drinks were barely warm and weak. Great view though and wonderful bookstore downstairs.

Kind of like Nepenthes younger sibling. The cafe has great food and the view and atmosphere on the deck are incredible.

Nice location. Wish the fog lifted so we had a better view terrace seating. Nice long drive before getting here.
