Note this rating reflects several aspects that I did not like regarding the dishes I ordered. I ordered ginger pork with seafood added. It was not worth the cost at all. I will be going back to my top places from now on. My dish literally had only one piece of scallop, a couple shrimp and over cooked calamari, It was very generous with the onion and pork but very few mushrooms. I wish they would balance it a bit more and not sub onions for everything. Totally not worth the extra money I paid for seafood I have had much better ginger pork/chicken at other places. I had the pumpkin soup as well and though I thought it okay the galangal was a bit overpowering to the other flavors. I do like their summer rolls. But over all it was disappointing in how food was portioned out. I cannot quite figure out why this place is so highly rated I would call most dishes I have gotten here to be just average. they certainly seem unable to cook seafood right. The one positive is that the food does not seem overly oily but still this is not in my top 3 places.

Where shall we begin... Lets talk about the food first. THE FOOD! Its truly the most amazing Thai place in Seattle. So much so that it changed my impression of Thai cuisine all together. The kitchen is ran by a chef who knows what shes doing - apparently she worked in a five star hotel in Bangkok before. So the flavor and the presentation was spot on. If you like Thai food this is a must try, if you have been to a couple of underwhelming Thai restaurants and thought you are done with Thai food, this is a must try. Enough said about the food. Moving on to the service - the owner herself runs the floor and you can bet that she cares. All the team members are friendly and timely in their service. Id imagine that it takes a lot of effort to put this together. Overall they deserve to be on the top spots of my local restaurant list. Highly recommended!

Oh, I could not be happier to have this place within walking distance of my house. Sip is connected via staff to a former local favorite Thai restaurant that used to be located in the same shopping center, and it is a delight to have them back. Id eaten there previously for lunch with a girlfriend, having a cashew chicken that was quite good. Then last night, my husband and I walked over for a quick dinner of Tom Yum soup, a very unusual green curry with avocado in it, and the crispy duck. All were wonderful; the tom yum was spicy and well balanced, the curry a revelation - light and yet rich - and the duck absolutely flawless. We finished with a mango sticky rice that could have had a bit more sauce on it for me, but the whole experience was great, and I look forward to another trip.

Overall, Average Thai Joint. I got Pad Thai and Gyoza. PROS: Everything tasted fresh and there were a lot of veggies in my drunken noodles. The veggies were crispy and the flavor tasted authentic. CONS: Flavor was really lacking. Im used to a mixture of spicy/sweet with drunken noodles and this had neither. The tofu wasnt crispy at all and didnt taste like it had been marinated. Over all it was just OK. I wont be getting it again as Ive had far better Thai food before and this just doesnt compare. I really dont understand how people can say this is the best Thai even compared to places in Seattle, but maybe we didnt get the right dish.

Miss V and I had a late lunch today at Sip Thai, and due to the lateness of the hour we had the place all to ourselves. Miss V ordered the Massaman curry -- some of the best weve ever tasted -- and I had a delicious bowl of tom kha. Plus we got to try several different herb teas, each one better than the last. We brought takeout back for Captain Midnight, who reports greatly enjoying his particular favorite, pad thai. Wed come back here just to enjoy tea and dessert, but the rest of the menu beckons enticingly. This could easily become a regular date stop on the way to a movie at Bella Bottega.

The food was good, thats why it gets 2 stars. I took off the other 3 stars for price and quantity. I ordered very basic pad Thai noodles and a veggie dish. These were dinnertime entrees. The portions, especially the pad Thai were a standard lunch special size and the veggies were hardly larger. For two dinner entrees, that combined were barely more than enough food for one person, the final cost with a tip was $29. Highway robbery, very, very disappointed. If the portions were actually dinner sized, then I would add two stars back on.

Best Thai food on the east side. Incredibly flavorful, interesting dishes combined with uncommon favorites. You must try the Chiang Mai noodles (also known as Khao Soi) - it is one of the most amazing things youll ever eat in your life, and if youre a fan of pho or curry or Tom Kha this will hit all of those itches and then some. Be advised that they dont fool around with their spice levels - they arent American spicy, theyre legitimately hot. 3 star will make you sweat, and 5 star might make you hurt.

My FAVORITE Eastside Thai. I am addicted to their Summer Rolls and this special sauce no other place can match. Their seasonal specials are so good that I get mad/sad when they rotate off - specifically the fresh scooped young coconut in green curry, OMG, so good. The high quality of the ingredients is obvious in the fantastic taste. Staff are also excellent as is the tea selection - they also serve beer and wine and have a crisp, clean dining room. It is my happy place.

Love this place so much. Everything is cooked to perfection. Seriously. Order anything and it will be amazing. Perfect veggies, perfect meat, perfect sauce, perfect balance of flavors. My kids down their kids meals because everything is just so good! Dont just stick to your normal pad Thai and curry dishes. Branch out and you wont regret it!

I give them one star because there is no choice for zero star. I go there cause their high rate on Google. But I was totally disappointed. I sit down near the kitchen, there was a lot of smoke inside. The food is just so so. Later I found I was charge a 35% tip for lunch! And I have no idea how that could happen!

Great service. Great food. Best Tom Kha I have had in years. I got the pumpkin curry. I never had pumpkin in my curry before, so I decided to venture into the unknown! It was the decision. They even brought me extra ground chilli pepper to adjust the spiciness of my curry. I will definitely go here again.

Great little Thai restaurant with a stellar tea selection and consistently delicious food. All the staff are very friendly and nice as well, and the prices are reasonable. I have been here around 30-50 times and tried most of the menu and every time the food is delicious and the service is excellent.

Loved it! Ive had bland thai food before, but this was the exact opposite. Very tasty, good flavors, well prepared, and fresh. Good price. Clean interior; small, but fun. Very relaxing to go to after 18 holes of Golf at Willows Run. Very friendly staff, and good soft-shell crab!
