The staff here are awesome. Supremely helpful with selecting and recommending meats. The "sando of the day" always either looks great (i see it on facebook) /tastes great (i have seen it and i have to eat it). Have purchased a pork butt, breakfast sausages, and bacon here. all SO good. their dog treats are devoured by my boyfriends dog in a matter of seconds; she loves them so much. Try the beef jerky-it is THE BEST.

On New Years Eve, I went to the shop to buy a steak for my wife and me to have for the special evenings dinner.. I asked for the best they had, and was told a NY steak would be the best and was very tender. the two steaks turned out to be very tough and far from delicious. Ion a restaurant, we would have sent them back. My wife said it was one of her worst meals ever.

BEST SHOP EVER! Love me some good meats! Only problem is the Nazis hanging around outside occasionally dripping in fake blood and accosting people. I still go anyway because there is no place better than here. Hope they take that stupid animal rights sign down. I dont care who says anything, keep the propaganda away from my yummy meats!

I like the idea of the place just having one sandwich style each day - but dang it was odd to have carrots as a filling (not in a banhmi style) and is it just me who doesnt enjoy an inch and a half thick slab of sliced meat in their sarnie?

Its hard to find lard these days, at least around here. They have it. And Schmaltz! Is it expensive? Yes. But you are getting what you pay for including: Local Origin, Humanely Raised, Expertly Butchered - to order with advanced notice!

This is where Im getting all my meat now. Their sources are incredible. Super humane and sustainable. Highest quality Ive found around here. They have bones, organs, stocks, broths, fat...whatever youre looking for.

Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a butcher shop like this. Sure its expensive, but the quality is amazing, the meat is sustainably raised, and the shop offers a delicious sandwich of the day. Great place

Expensive and high quality. Staff know their stuff, and you can get whole cuts of meat to portion at home. The butcher table is right in the middle of this small shop, nothing to hide and proud.
