Kind of a dive. Its Friday night, there is a C- band playing (C- at best). The patio is *empty* and the band is WAAAYYYY too loud. Whats worse than a crappy band? A crappy band too loud. They are too scared to have their own band turn down, even when the patio is empty. What does that tell you about how they treat customers? I think the old folks here drinking the old stale beer cant hear anyway.

Normally a great spot with outdoor seating, but the band was ridiculously loud the other night. Only 6 people on the patio and the band ignored my request to turn down their sound system. The worst part is the Resturant also told us they couldnt get the band to turn down their music. Interesting - not sure whos running the place - the band or the Resturant?!? So...we left!

Good selection of beers and nice outdoor patio area, however it can get noisy -- both from the passing train and from live music with the volume up too loud. Last time I was there on a Saturday night the patio was nearly empty due to the band playing way too loud, and refusing to turn down the volume.

however, this place serves up good burgers and has a nice variety of beers on tap...well, when theyre working, that is. Pizza is good. Service is beyond poor, but hey, its a bar. Their hours are also screwy. They open and close when they want and are sometimes closed by 7pm on a Friday!

Used to eat here many moons ago, memory plays tricks on you over time but I remember better service in the past. Its still a very good burger place. The reason for three stars is that it took close to an hour to get two basic burgers with fries.exceedingly slow service!

If your a fish and chips person then you have to come to Marvins Gardens. I like to grab this for lunch with a beer and head to the patio. Great atmosphere for chilling with friends.

Guinness was old or tubes are dirty. Wine was old. Food was undercooked (including still frozen French fry). Outside beer garden area was cool though.
