I am twenty years old. Not twenty one. Last night… New years eve, I was hanging out with two buddies, I had a racer five twenty two ounce bottle that I brought into the Shamrock. I sat down and started to drink my beer. Every body was having such a good time, and it was almost midnight and I just wanted to see the crowd go wild when the New Year came. I know you cant be in bars when your under twenty one and I know you cant bring your own alcohol into a bar. Anyway, The bar tender came up to me with a big smile on her face and said "what can I get you", I held up my beer bottle and said Im all set… Then she snapped like a drunk or drugged lunatic and started yelling at me to leave… SO I STOULD UP TOOK A COUPLE MORE BITS OF THE BOWL OF SNACKS ON THE BAR and began to leave, as I was walking out she starts calling the police…911! I pause for a few seconds to tell the lady there is no need for that and that Im leaving. I was apologetic and polite. As I was telling her she doesnt need to do what she is doing, and that its a waist of police effort sending cops out when Im clearly leaving… presenting no problem… I hear her say into the phone "HURRY UP HE WONT LEAVE!" As Im walking down the street almost a block away, two cops order me to stop and put my hands up. On my way to Santa Rita County Jail I noticed the officer had typed in his report that the suspect was refusing to leave, and was grabbing stuff from behind the bar, and being aggressive. I did not grab stuff from behind the bar, nor did I refuse to leave, nor did I show aggression. The Bar tender lied to the police because she really wanted to send somebody to a concrete room on New Years Eve…. She did seem a little too enthusiastic about calling the police on somebody. Any ways Im in the process of becoming a Marine recruit, and I hope this drunk in public charge doesnt cause any problems. PS I was about 100ft from my house this whole time. I live a stones throw away from the Shamrock. And I was not incapacitated, a little tipsy, but much well enough to walk home no problem. Happy New Year Shamcock..

Ecclectic local vibe for low key aficionados...cash only, slightly dank and a major hi amp jukebox for the ageless
