My family and I just ate here tonight . The food was excellent . My 4 kids ate the Buffett and my husband and I had sushi . The sushi rolls are the best I have ever eaten . I have eaten a lot of sushi , but theirs is far tastier. The service was really excellent too. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive to our needs . The owner of the restaurant greeted us at the door and came by to say thank you for coming to eat here . The atmosphere was delightful . We loved it and the price was not bad for 6 people . We will definitely eat there again and I will definitely be telling my friends about this place.

Update: this place used to be great. They have now raised their prices and decreased the portion. My husband got a hibachi chicken and steak for 23.00. I had a hibachi chicken for 17.00. My portions were much bigger than his. This place used to have great prices and great portions. We will not be back. We will take our business across town. This is my previous review from 7 months prior: Very good service. The wait staff is very attentive and quick. I have never had a bad experience. The hibachi cooks are super friendly and entertaining.

Good to see that my last comment was removed. First off, I was there with a group of 15 people. The service was terrible, the food was okay. After our meal we paid with a very generous tip (even though they didnt deserve it), after that they made us leave, thats right, escorted us. We werent loud or bothering anyone since we were the only people in there. Thieves. I highly recommend going to Fuji where they actually care about their customers.

If you do not expect much, and there is not much to choose from as far as Japanese cuisine is concerned, then you probably will not be disappointed. The prices, everything being relative, are not bad. I have paid more in other cities for hibachi and sushi but then the food was better. I had chicken served on the hibachi and salmon and eel (if memory serves) from the sushi menu; the sushi menu was not that extensive. The sushi was tasty.

I didnt like the food here at all. The miso soup was room temperature which was very disappointing. The sushi did not taste fresh at all and was totally bland. The $8 mixed drink I had was awful. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the ambiance was very cool and the waitress was friendly and doing her best. I am by no means a picky eater but I actually ended up throwing half of my $30 meal in the garbage.

What a great little restaurant. I got food to go twice this week. First time I ordered to go chicken chow mein with fried rice and egg roll. I came in really late tonight almost at close. Ordered chow mein and egg roll but I forgot to tell him fried rice (normally comes with white) he remembered what I got last time, gave me a plate remembering I was in the hotel, and man was it so good. Thank you so much!

There are some great things about this restaurant, but many bad things as well. Some good things are that most of their sushi is fantastic, fast service, and great soup. The bad things are that all the other food is bland and the hibachi is way to overpriced for the quality of the show and taste of the food compared to other hibachis in town.

was a nice building staff was slow took 15 min to get drinks we had buffet and they didnt keep up with it was out of almost everything except for cheese stick. I think if we was having sushi it would have been OK but the wife doesnt like it the buffet doesnt receive much attention

Buffet was seriously lacking. About 1/3 of the trays were empty & they didnt put new stuff out (was way before closing), and most of what was out was fried. Ordered sushi to share and would say it was mediocre at best. Definitely a disappointment.

We absolutely love shoguns..and they have my favorite drink in town. I stop by on occasions just to have a few Chi-Chis at the bad. Hibachi is delicious and the buffet is fresh.
