This place opened less than a week after my wife and I returned from a trip to India; walking in the door it felt like we were back there. Not only is the service great, but the food is the real deal. Their biriyani is without doubt the most authentic in the Salt Lake Area (if theres an Indian restaurant between Bountiful and Lehi where I havent tried the biriyani Id be surprised), and is even as good as or better than some of the best restaurants in Hyderabad (for you who havent been to India, this is like me telling you a Chicago style pizza place is on par with the best places in Chicago). Now, understand, this is Indian food BY Indians, for an Indian palate. For many Americans, in order to really enjoy authentic Indian food, youre going to have to work through acclimating your mouth to a higher level of spice than youre used to. That means if youre looking for "layers of flavor" without some heat, ask the nice person taking your order. Theyll happily get you something that is easier on an American tongue until youre willing to pay the price to eat the real deal.

Guess there is a new girl taking orders, Rachel, she was horrible and combative when my husband called to let them know we were missing at least 4 items. Her immediate response was to blame us for looking at a corporate menu, which we got from that location. We have never received such poor customer service from that place, until today. The owners and family have always had great customer service. We love the owners there! We order from there a few times a month, for a while last year it was about once a week. No matter what we ordered Pav Bhaji or Somosa, or Bhel Puri, we always received mint chutney and raita, with puffs and crisps. Also, the curry comes with rice- its and Indian dish, and we didnt get rice? We are seriously considering going back to Aroma. Way better customer service. Rachel truly should watch a few videos on CS and dealing with phone orders, questions. suggestions, and requests. She sounded more like a debt collector, placing blame without apology until 2 min. Into the conversation, and not once offered a solution.

This place is not a proper sit down restaurant with full table service but more like a Deli where you place the order on the counter. Some of their portions are rather small but therefore also rather inexpensive. They dont focus so much about presenting their dishes really well and give you paper plates and plastic spoons - but they put a lot of focus on the food quality. Their dishes are really authentic and have great flavors. The best thing about it is that their food is rather light and doesnt leave a salty and heavy aftertaste. Its also great to come here for lunch as they are able to get your food out within just a few minutes. Besides Indian dishes they also serve cake. Their cake is ok but not special. I come here for their great Indian food.

I am a regular visitor for this place usually we will go over weekends. But yesterday we got take away from here. We got chicken biryani yesterday and we think the chicken used is some left over chicken from other days. The pieces are stinking. The food taste is awful and we dumped and ordered a pizza Please take care of this else all the reputation you built over the days will go on drains. I myself may not order food here again in weekdays. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old review : Had Vijayawada Biryani and Raju gari Kodi Palav This is the best Biryani I had in Utah so far The staff is friendly and received well. Overall I had a good experience and definitely recommend to others

I have been here countless number of times. What brings me here repeatedly is their authentic taste. They so have a lot of new and different dishes during their "chef special days" However, it would be awesome, if they could make a select few dishes , permanent on their menu so people like me dont have to stock up :) If there was one thing I would recommend , it would be that that they revisit their pricing, I do feel they are little expensive, for the portion of food served. This is by far the best Indian (and South Indian) restaurant in the valley.

Over priced for low quality meat. The spices have no layers and no flavors other than hot. Its sapposed to be an experience in flavor not just gah. They open at 11 but nothing is ready till 11:30. All the tables were dirty and no one had even been at them. There was still food on the floor from the night before. Nasty all around unpleasant experience. Even the cake was blah. Dry from sitting out in the case all night. I would not recommend it for anyone. Over priced, small portions, and very unprofessional.

There are some really delicious dishes made here. Ginger chicken and Pani Puri make a dynamite combination. I dont mind paper plates, Im not eating the plates Im eating the food. Some people might be intimidated by the spiciness expected from an Indian restaurant, but if youre an adult youll know how to communicate that you want your food on the milder side. Unfortunately, some of the owners seem to be blind to the issues keeping this restaurant from handling big league crowds.

Food was prepared way too spicy. When ordering they said the food would not be spicy. We ended up throwing away $50 worth of foid. We were told that the restaurant does not cater to Americans and only cooks for the foreign guest that prefers it extremely spicy. Its unfortunate because we have been to Indian restaurants all over the US and Ive never been told that the good is too hot for Americans and cannot be changed.

I really want to give 5 stars, but the paper cafeteria-style plates were questionable. The food was not, most excellent. I had the lunch-special chicken tikka masala. And the naan was so delicious that Ill go back just for that. I also decided to but a dozen of the pastry cakes and bright them back to the office... Everyone loved them. However, I thought Id get a bulk purchase discount, instead I dropped $40 on cake.

My wife and I love the food here and hope this place will be around for a long time! We love their samosa chaat and are so glad they made it available on their lunch menu. We dont know much about authenticity, because were just not familiar enough with Indian food, but its different and interesting flavors and we love it! Great service and very friendly.

Love the option of eggless cakes and the chats. Mirchi bhaji is delicious! I like the veg Biriyani too. They try really hard to bring new items. Very costumer oriented group! They can work a little on the quantity though. All in all great place in SLC when youre looking for something else besides standard Punjabi Indian food.

We ordered gongura biryani and kati roll today and really enjoyed them . Gongura biryani was out of the world . The layer of spices were very well blent and it was perfect . Kati roll was good too. The roll was very soft and the paneer capsicum Sabji inside the roll was tasty .
