Yesterday I searched Google Maps for "cafe" and this came up. IT IS NOT A CAFE. The very limited menu is on the wall behind the counter (No hash browns, only breakfast potatoes.), and after taking your order they ask if its to stay or to go - that makes it a fast food restaurant. However, we were the only two people there at 8:30am, but by 8:50am a couple of guys had come in, ordered to go and had their food and were gone, but our food had not been prepared yet. At 9am I asked the cashier about that and she said "Those guys were in a hurry." I told her it takes 5-10 minutes at most to scramble some eggs, and she said their cook is in training. I asked for a refund and she obliged - but they wont give you a printed credit card receipt when you purchase or get a refund. Theres a reason that it has a 4.9/5.0 rating but opens late in the breakfast hours and has only two sets of customers between 8:30 and 9am - Its a sham.

This place just opened and its family owned so keep that in mind when you go- all in a good way. Family run meaning they still care. They arent a corporation owned business so they actually care about your experience there. If something isnt right they dont have to call other people to fix it. The staff is super friendly and they actually ask for criticism and comments. The food is amazing and served with elegance. They cook their food like you are their family. They arent just going to slap it on a plate. You are their guest and they serve their food to you as such. The sausage gravy is the best sausage gravy you will find! Made fresh every morning and it shows! No gummy taste. Im local to the area and can tell you that you cant find good food especially breakfast this good for MILES. In conclusion: Easy to find✔ Big parking lot✔ Friendly service✔ Family owned✔ Great food✔

Truly surprised at the delicious food at this unassuming little spot. Everything was fresh and delicious. A group of us went trying three different menu items. The breakfast burrito weighed in at over a good pound for less than $6.00 full of eggs, potatoes, bacon, cheese and country gravy. The Southern breakfast plate ($8.25)was a traditional breakfast plate with eggs prepared as requested, roasted potatoes (amazing flavor) crispy bacon (nice, thick and crunchy) the most amazing fluffy toast, delicious homemade strawberry jam and a side of true country gravy. The biscuits and gravy ($7.50) came with choice of eggs, three biscuits and a generous helping of homemade gravy. The coffee was brewed fresh and extremely hot (careful!!) and the OJ tasted fresh and sweet. Looking forward to going back and trying additional dishes. Their service was courteous and efficient.

I went there tonight and it is a hidden gem! Im going for sure to taste other things on the menu. Tonight I had the BLT sandwich with a side of greenery that I believe had a fruit-based vinaigrette. Both sandwich and salad was good! My fiancee had the chicken burrito which was huge and he loved it but I think he really wanted to get to the order of huge hot wings they offered. We also had elote corn which was really good as well. Ive looked around in Phoenix for elote corn and couldnt find anything close till today at this cafe. I can tell they thought out their menu with flavor and everything tasted so fresh. Also the prices here are really good. I will be back and thank you for your hospitality.

I live around the and cafe and I decided to stop by today. The place is small and has a friendly inviting environment. They have a variety of entrées, lunch specials and dinner. The woman working there is really friendly, when people come in they are at awe when they see the huge plates! Great for cofee in the morning. I only wish it was a bit busier so thry can have more staff tending the guest. Definitely coming back again, supporting small businesses.

My review is in reguards to employment. First off, as stated by other reviews, the owner screams at the employees, so do NOT work here if you cant handle that. He also will not pay you. He shorted a check of mine by $100...and made up excuses...when i quit, i asked for my final check and he refused and said if i do not get out of his store he would call the cops. Bottom line, foods good but the owner isnt.

Food is excellent. 1 star off because I bought a 15 dollar groupon they wont redeem because I only spent 14. Nothing in fine print stating total needed to exceed 15 when buying groupon and after tipping I spent above 15. Nothing on menu will get you to that amount. Bring a friend if you bought the groupon. I will be back though. Lots of great looking food offered. Very friendly staff.

Good food, good portions (large but not ridiculously so), and accommodating. My fiance is vegan and theyre always willing to whip something up for him. Avocado toast and fruit with a side of potato hash would cost $20 at one of the places downtown or central Phoenix. Here our total for 2 with tip was $20.

Local businesses like this ROCK! Yes, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and its very relaxed and inclusive. They have drawings that the owners young child hangs on the walls, and it is so precious and reminds you of why you should be supporting businesses just like this!

We had the Steak Burrito and the Gravy Fries. All I can say is...Wow! Instantly one of my new favorite spots. Cant wait to come back for the South Mountain Breakfast and the Chicken Burrito. The South Side needs this place. Please support this great family owned cafe.

Really good food and they really try to accommodate you with any dietary or health wise choices to make your dish as you like it. Also they are very nice to support the teachers on teachers appreciation week. PCA Middle School loves ya!

This may be a hidden gem, back from the road a bit. Very clean, great service. The food was great. Chorizo and roasted potatoes. And, a lovely croque monsieur (ham and gruyere cheese sandwich). Will definitely be back!

Was there to eat and was enjoying myself until i heard the the cook yelling at one of his co-workers which runied my experience. The food was ok, it was a little dry but hearing the cook made it worse.
