I went to Grazie for Valentines day, which can often be a difficult time to be a vegetarian (with all the prixe fixe menus full of the romantically dead lobsters and cows). My boyfriend had reservations for us at a wonderful vegetarian friendly place only to find out that they would not be offering a vegetarian option for Valentines day. (Nothing says "I love you" like "you cant eat here"). This left him scrambling to find another place to eat, and he stumbled upon the vegetarian friendly Grazie. As we approached the restaurant, you could hear how full of life and energy it was, even for such a typically quiet, romantic night. Im not one for an overly stuffy restaurant, so I love it. There was a beautifully lit patio that stretches around the building completed with a large fireplace on the side. The wine list was presented first, which was actually something of a disappointment from someplace calling themselves a wine bar. Ill drink just about anything, and I liked the way it was arranged, but they were definitely lacking in a few more options. However, we did enjoy a nice glass of Spanish chardonnay that went well with our food for the evening. To begin, we chose the cheese platter, which was worth every penny of the $15 price. Unaware of what exactly to expect (the menu did not list the cheeses), we were pleasantly surprised to find the 5 or 6 different kinds of cheeses presented in generous portions. This certainly was not the skimpy cheese plates Im used to. However, because there was SO much cheese, we felt that it was almost overkill without some tomatoes or bread to cut the the richness. (Ill never complain about too much cheese though). For our meal, we split the Marcello pizza, which was delicately seasoned with garlic and topped with Roma tomatoes. The crust was thin and crispy and held up well to the rich sauce. Overall, Grazie is a place that I would recommend and visit again for some indulgent food and a beautiful ambiance.

Nice setting, OK Pizza... I stopped in here with a friend to have a bite before a wine tasting we were going to close by. I had eaten here several times several years ago and had pleasant memories of my meals. There was an immediate challenge due to a very large party outside who were just being served their food. With only one server working, we were immediately given menus, but it took awhile even to get water, and we were concerned that we wouldnt have time to order a pizza and still make it to our wine tasting. Well, no worries. When the poor lone server finally came back to take our order, he assured us that it had probably taken us longer to decide what kind of pizza we wanted than it would take for it to be cooked and brought to us - and he was right! We ordered the Margherita Pizza and it was brought to us almost immediately. It was a good pizza, not overloaded with too much sauce or cheese, and was plenty for my friend and I to share. We both enjoyed the thin crust , although it probably could have cooked a tiny bit longer. It was a good pizza, but not exceptional, and the restaurant was so cold that the pizza quickly cooled faster than we could consume it. We were able to eat, pay our check, and arrived at our wine tasting with time to spare. We decided that we will return to Grazie for one of their wine tastings one day soon. All though stretched thin, our server did his best to meet our needs.

Yes, the location and atmosphere is wonderful. The menus look so inviting. They listed specials on their chalkboard that they were out of by 6pm?! Including wine specials. Please utilize the eraser and save your guests some time. The Tuscan pizza should have been amazing, yet it was almost flavorless. It was hot for two minutes and became wet and soggy in the middle with the only standout flavor being of burnt crust. The best thing we had was the mixed greens salad. We loved our waiter as a gentleman. He lacked as a server. We had to ask for every single thing, starting with having the table wiped before we could sit. Im hoping it was a off night and therefore 2 stars.

I was with my family and my mother asked for no meat on her pizza but received a ton of meat on her pizza. My relative and I ordered an Americana pizza without pepperoni, the waitress rudely corrected us and said what we wanted is actually the Margarita pizza. Our pizza was remade twice. The first time it fell apart, the second time it was extremely burnt, and the third pizza (the one we received) was severely undercooked. The cook seemed to be very drunk and kept drinking. The lasagna had way too much parmasean cheese and was very bland. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Went last night and have been a regular at this place. Lettuce in my caeser was brown...Pizzas came out burnt - informed the waitress and she spent 10 mintues inspecting with owner and then packed it in a box and said they would not remake it - charged us for it. Spoke to owner he said this is how their pizza is...BURNT and HARD I guess is their new style....Was really dissappointed as it would have cost him $1 to remake it and keep a customer

The pizza is one of the best in the valley, made with high-quality ingredients. The wine list is quite good with a reasonable price. In general, I think the service is very good. Eventually you can find someone in a bad mood, but its not normal. Its very similar with any other restaurants that is staffed by kids that are not exactly professionals. The atmosphere is very pleasant, except inside, that can be extremely noise on a busy day.

Small place, we ended up seated outside due to a wine dinner happening inside taking up most of the seating. They did have the misters going so they temperature was bearable (it was still over 100° after dark) We started with about 8 people and ended up with 15 or so. Laid back and accommodating. They let us pull together as many tables as we needed. All food and drink is Italian.

Amazing! Pizza, atmosphere, people, everything about this place is great! My wife and I went there on a date early in the evening and it was absolutely fantastic! The people were great! The pizza was outstanding, the company was amazing, service was fast!!! Almost too fast! But if your looking for a great experience and amazing food I definitely recommend this place for sure!

Came and ordered two pizzas, when they arrived it looked like a pool of grease. When I picked up a slice all of the toppings slid off revealing the under cooked and doughy "thin crust." Waitress sat by on her phone, not the best service. Told the waitress, got my pizzas remade, and got them to go. Would not recommend.

Food was really good. Service was horrendous. Saturday night, not very busy. Both servers told us that they "forgot" we were outside waiting to be served. Then one server said to me she was sorry they forgot us and she wasnt sure why, but the service was really bad tonight! Yes, we agree.

Fantastic experience. We loved our informative and friendly server, Alexandra. She had informed suggestions on wine and entrees as well as desserts. We had a larger group of 11 and she handled it beautifully! A wonderful Italian experience in Scottsdale near the Valley Ho Hotel.
