Used to be a VERY regular customer. Sadly, my family will no longer visit this location. Today was the last straw. Called in to order a $10 XL 2 topping Sunday special. The girl that took my order was incredibly inept. As in, even if you are new there is no excuse for not even knowing how to talk to a customer. After it took 3 times as long as normal for her to take my order (with frequent pauses to ask for help, mumble at the machine, listening to her say uhh, *sigh*, etc and ask me the same information 2-3 times, my order is completed. Pick-up the pizza from a friendly young man and when I get home...TOTALLY wrong order. I find out the girl took my order VERY wrong. So wrong that she gave me WAY over the sales promo in terms of pizza type oppings (artichokes, ham, black olives, BBQ chicken, jalapenos, red bell peppers, sausage, pepperoni, onions, sliced tomatos....I dont know what WASNT on this mess of a pizza)!. But it was uneatable for my family. Called them back, gave the loaded mismash pizza to my neighbors, picked up the new one. Got home and they seem to have semi-cooked it. It was SOGGY in the entire middle and outward. This is JUST a pepperoni and sausage pizza! We actually ate around it (mostly the crusts) and threw away over HALF! A few hours later I notice I have been double charged! After a THIRD call, their Manager explains they forgot to let me know they were cancelling the first charge and putting thru a new one (a bit less). Which is fine but this should have been stated before I was even handed a new (albiet soggy...) new pizza. So yes, sadly we will stick to the excellent options around us (Federal Pizza, The Parlor, Oreganos...heck AJs Fine Foods!).

Had an unfortunate encounter with what appeared to be a manager at the Mid-Town Phoenix location tonight. I had a coupon specific to that location for a "free small pizza with a purchase of equal or greater value". There was no other specific requirements written on the coupon, except for the expiration date. I decided online before I went there that a free small "American" pizza might be nice. It is valued at $10.50 at this location, so I figured I just needed to spend $10.50 or more to get the free pizza, right? Again, the coupon only said "with a purchase price of equal or greater value". To me that means the total price of my purchase, whatever it is that I buy. So I wanted a meatball sub and a drink and a cookie, which would have exceeded the value of the pizza. How this manager responded is what bums me out. When I ordered, he immediately snapped at me "It doesnt work like that", without even looking at the coupon. Upon handing the coupon to him, he looked at it confused. I repeated to him that the coupon only said "purchase value", not the cost of the individual sub (which is lower than the value of the pizza). He wouldnt budge, so I said "OK", and I left. Now it seems to me that the purpose of coupons is supposed to increase business. And doesnt that location get reimbursed by redeeming the coupon to corporate? In this case, the way this person handled this situation lost ZPizza a good customer. Too bad, I liked your food.

Well lets just say I will never be going back to this zpizza ever again! When I arrived I didnt have to wait long. I was rung up by a guy who was rather nice and patient with me. After spending $30 for an XL pizza I was told that the wait would be 15 to 20 minutes. So I sat down and waited for my order. While waiting I had people sit down and finish their lunch. Then the manager came out to talk to two woman, apologized for the wait, and said their pizza would be coming soon. These women commented to each other that they had only waited 8 minutes. Then a couple came in, waited 5 minutes, and then the manager came out with their order. Meanwhile, I sat there waiting and waiting. No one came out and told me anything. After 30 minutes I was pretty much fed up and was going to cancel my order when the manager finally came out with my pizza (no explanation for the wait or apology). Now if my pizza had been really good I might have forgiven the wait but when I finally ate my pizza it wasnt good at all. In fact it was a bit gross. So not only did I end up wasting my time I wasted my money on a gross pizza. Never again will I go here, lesson learned.

As my wife and I were having lunch we noticed an employee accidentally knock a stack of wax paper onto the floor. Another employee walked around and counter, picked them up, and put them back on the counter, two feet away from the garbage can, and went back about her work. When I asked her why she had put the papers on the counter for peoples food to be served on she told me she planned on throwing them away. This, when the trashcan was literally two feet from where she placed them, at the end of the counter. I might not have posted this, except on a previous occasion we witnessed an employee handle food that had already been given to a customer with the same tongs she was using to serve food. The customer complained shed been given the wrong slice of pizza, so the employee grabbed it off the customers plate with her tongs, put it back in the display, gave her a different piece of pizza, then went back to serving other customers with the same set of tongs. We complained to the manager on duty both times. I advise caution when eating at Zpizza, as they do not appear to take safe food handling seriously.

Ive been going to this zpizza for 5 years.. The staff there knows my name and treats me like a friend. The pizza is the best Ive ever had from any pizza place period. Their ZBQ pizza is delectable... The American is fantastic and even their salads are amazing. Get a pick two with a slice of pepperoni and a pear & gargonzola salad. Its a great combo. They recently went through an owner change. Even though theyve made some changes to the looks of the locations and are adding alcohol taps for the younger crowd, the atmosphere still feels great with the solid hard wood tables and walls. I actually like it better than the funky art they had on the walls before. Haha. Go here on date night, or during your lunch break and you wont be disappointed.

Stopped in to check it out because I have been hearing lots about it. Well Tuesday they have a banner out front that says "buy 1 get 1 free" no limit is posted on it but dont try to order 2 and get 2 free they will not do it, even once you point out that their is no limit listed. Decided to go to a different location since they were not friendly about it. They told me that you can only oreder 1 and get 1 free you ordering 2 and getting 2 free. Well they should post a limit of 1 on the banner otherwise it is false advertising in my opinion.
