Came here for mothers day my first time ever, and unfortunately my last time here. I have to say food was awesome. Service was horrible spent over an hour waiting for our food the waitress never came to our table when she did she looked over our shoulder . instead of a presentable standing. We didnt even get our completed meal. Took the waitress 10min to GET our condiments. And our orang juice she served was hot. The lady that sat us down at the table was rude I asked her for a sling for my 6 month old son that was sleeping in his car seat she STATED CAN YOU PUT HIM IN THE BOOTH WITH YOU GUYS . I TOLD HER NO SHE SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS LIKE IF IT WAS A BOTHER AND STATED WELL IT WILL BE AWHILE BEFORE YOU GET ONE AND WALKED AWAY. THE ONLY PERSON THAT WAS NICE TO US WAS THE PERSON THAT TOOK OUR MONEY AND THAT GREATED US IT WAS THE SAME LADY. SHE WAS CHECKING EVERYONE OUT I DID INFORM HER SHE ONLY TOOK OFF OUR 2 ORANGE JUICES. WHICH WAS NICE OF HER BUT IT RUINED MY FIRST MOTHERS DAY EXPERIENCES AS A FAMILY AT YOUR RESTAURANT AND SORRY to SAY I WONT BE GOING BACK.

I flew into Arizona last Saturday morning to have a weekend with my Girlfriend. After our date night on Saturday, Sunday morning we came here to have breakfast. My girlfriend loves their food and this was my first time. Please note, that my review is solely based on my experience and it total is based on the customer service provided. The food itself was hometown, comfort, very delicious food! The customer service in general is another story! First off, our food took forever to get served. I am not sure what was wrong but we did wait an extensive time for a breakfast burrito. Secondly, there were members of the staff which just seemed miserable. The owner was pointed out to me with a mention that you only ever see her sitting there eating. As Management and a "Family" restraunt it would be nice to see her maybe looking happier and mingling with the guests / patrons. All in all, the food really was very good. However, their customer service and that of the owner could be much improved upon.

I have been a long time patron of Brothers restaurant but I wont be going back. On January 12, 2015 my wife and I were having lunch. My wife found a very long hair in her salad. It was disgusting. We called the waitress over to our table and showed her the hair and she was disgusted. The waitress asked my wife if she wanted to order something else. She immediately answered no. She had completed lost her appetite and quickly left the restaurant. I couldnt finish my sandwich either. The waitress removed my wifes salad from our bill and nothing else was offered. I called the restaurant later that day and asked to speak to the owner. They were not available so I left my name, phone number and the reason for my call and asked for a return call. Im still waiting for a return call. We like to support local businesses but cant in good conscious recommend Brothers restaurant. The very LEAST they should have done was return my call. Very poor customer service demonstrated by the owners.

1st and last time here. Read good reviews but was very disappointed with the overall experience. Water glass had lipstick on it, fork and spoon had food stuck on them, when I let the waitress know she never apologized or brought us any replacements. Coffee is very weak tasted watered down, they didnt offer refills until the cup was empty for a few minutes. Had to ask for cream. I had crepes with apple filling, filling was from a can cold and not a lot of flavor, crepes were a dark color and had no flavor, looked like they were cooked on a dirty pan or grill. My husband had been chorizo with Gwen chili very dry, he asked for tortillas instead of toast. They brought him 1 flour tortilla, his breakfast lacked clover and spice. Before we finished eating another waitress came over and asked if we were finished with our condiments so she could take them to another table, not very professional. IMO they need to step it up in all areas!

I dont know how anyone can find the place in the first place...it is not well advertised and you cannot see it from the road...My wife and I were tired and trying to find my long lost cousins place in El Mirage and got lost down this seedy, creepy part of town and there we found "Brothers restaurant" If we werent starved we wouldnt have stopped in there but unfortunately we did. There were homeless people wondering around the curb on the side and back of the restaurant. I think the place is owned by the Greek Mafia..how else would it stay in business? Cant say much for the owner...the day we stopped in we saw him screaming at the fed ex guy to "stop chasing him around the kitchen" So how can one say this is a family restaurant? Rude in my opinion..

Went in during the weekend for breakfast. A lot of people were there but the restaurant is very big so even though I was solo I got a booth. Food was very well prepared. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. Corned beef hash was tasty. Waitress was nice and my coffee cup never got past half empty. Price was okay: I got the hash as a side order which greatly raised my bill. I have been to Brothers a couple of times and will go back for more breakfast. Their Friday Fish Fry was confusing. I came in and thought I ordered all-you-can-eat. The waitress seemed upset when I asked for more fish. She had to change my receipt and acted as she didnt like to do this. This incident knocks off a star rating.

Arrived on a Sunday morning, the restaurant was busy. Our party of four was seated quickly in one of the very few available tables. Two waitresses seemed to disagree over being our server. When the issue was resolved our server was very pleasant and knew the menu very well helping us make selections. The food arrived timely considering the restaurant was basically full. Food was at appropriate temperatures and looked appealing. The food was good, not bad and not excellent, just average I may or may not return as there are other cafe style restaurants in the area that do a better job. From the crowd at the restaurant it seems this place is a very popular with the locals.

My family and I went there over the weekend. Food and price was decent. Waitress was very nice! Although, when I went to pay the man at the register, he was on his phone with his buddy. He took my money, the whole time he continued his conversation with his buddy, not once said thank you or even looked up to acknowledge a paying customer. I thought that was pretty rude. It was an okay place, but the food wasnt so outstanding that I would put up with rude service. More than likely will not return. There are a few other family owned places in that area that Im sure will be thankful for my money.

This was undoubtedly the worst meal my husband and I have had in the Glendale/Peoria area. Started out with tasteless, odd tasting soup that neither of us finished. We were hoping things would improve after that. The main course of ham dinner for myself and prime rib for my husband. Tasteless, blah tasting meal for both of us. Left most of it. On way out we were asked how it was. Sadly, had to tell hostess "worst meal Weve ever had". She then asked if we wanted to leave a tip and didnt offer any type of discount at all. We will never eat there again and neither should you.
