First of all, Village Inn is one of my favorite places to go to eat but my friend and myself were in there today for a late lunch and I must say, we both got the Cariabbean Salad. It was very tasty and nice but it was $8.59 and it was the smallest salad I have ever had. True, it was a lunch portion but it has 3 pieces of chicken about the size of a paper clip. It had 3 tiny pieces of avacado and about a teaspoon of corn and two small chips (tiny chips). The rest was lettuce and lots of that. I am completely surprised by this. I love this place, I hope that was all an accident. I dont mind spending money if I get my moneys worth, but that salad was almost $9 for a lunch salad. What is happening to this place??

11:48 am on a monday...Our first time here. The waitress tried to seat us at a table but it had food crumbs all over it, so we asked to be put at another table. Literally EVERY table she tried to seat us at had food on it. After searching for a clean table, she sat us at a beige table that she thought was clean, but the food just blended in! She apologized with the excuse was that they didnt have a busser today. I guess they dont have anyone qualified to pick up a rag either. If they cant get a table right, I dont want to know whats going on in the kitchen. Left and wont be back.

Service was good. Food not so much. It smelled like a fish market when we walked in and up to the point the Tabasco was used which over powers any smell. The biscuit was dry and crumbly even with gravy poured on it so I had to use a spoon to get it to my mouth so that didnt get eaten and when 2 breakfasts cost $30 I feel I should be able to eat all of it. We ordered 2 cups of coffee, and the coffee is NOT that good to be charging $2.49 per cup. Really? $5.00 for that little carafe? Give your customers a fresh pot for that price!

We decided to go out for breakfast at Village Inn Located at 5959 W Thunderbird, our waitress did not write down the order so it didnt surprise me when she confuse some things. Some of my food was brought to me on a dirty plate. Best customer service came from the manager when we were leaving he offered us free pie Wednesday which our waitress never did. I dont think we will be returning to this particular Village Inn.

Used to come here all the time for pie and coffee and never had any issues until i ordered a chicken sandwich and got some awful food poisoning on christmas day, to be exact i did not eat anything else before or after eating the chicken sandwich and i knew something was wrong when my stomach starting feeling strange after eating it. Worst food poisoning ive ever had - if you are going to eat here avoid the meats.

The restaurant was clean and all the staff were on point with service the food was perfect ..I ordered the RIO GRAND SKILLET , the green chilli was on point perfect without the cheese, xtra sour cream and green chilli with 2 over medium eggs. The eggs were perfect over all the staff was 3.9 and the kitchen staff was 5.0

Eaten here twice in last two weeks. Both times service was quick and food hot and delicious. The only thing I would suggest is tell them to go lightly on the salt on the Fries. You either get them unsalted or so salted you cannot eat them.

I must have come on an off day. It was around 9am and not many diners at all. No one at the front to check me in. Finally the manager of the day mosied on over. The silverware was dirty, had to replace. The breakfast was good but barely warm.

Mediocre quality food, nothing to rave about. The average person could make the same breakfast at home and save $7. Wait staff are friendly and the restaurant is usually clean. Its an okay place, but definitely not my cup of tea.

Wasnt that good.I had gone to the restroom and while in there a cook came out of a stall and didnt wash his hands after taking a crap. The seater lady was just talking to costumers and not doing anything.Ended up walking out.

Very busy on Saturday morning and noisy. But calmed down after the breakfast run. Enjoyed their coffee. I ordered a simple plate which was tasty. I wasnt overly impressed with the blueberry pancakes though.

The food and the pie are very good. The servers are nice and friendly. The blonde night manager is unprofessional, and blames her servers for her inability to manage properly.

This place was busy Sunday morning, but the service was still very efficient. The Village Inn Breakfast (VIB) is a good deal and allows you to customize to your tastes.

The service was good and the coffee. But the only thing I didnt like is that the Breakfast was kinda on the cold side. When there was only 3 people in the place.
