First time here was a good experience. Love the decor and atmosphere at this place! Looks like a 50s style diner. My wife and I both ordered burgers: a patty melt and a Southwest burger. Both were delicious and filling! The burgers were a good size and have a good flavor. The bread and buns used were also really tasty and the burgers were stacked high with condiments. I ordered onion rings with my burger and they came out over done the first time. I told the server and she immediately fixed it, thankfully. The second batch of rings looked and tasted much better but were still a little heavy for me. The server and owner were very friendly and took the time to recognize it was our first time here and made us feel appreciated which, unfortunately, doesnt happen too often these days when the market is oversaturated with so many restaurants. We plan on coming back soon!

They need to take Elviss name off "The Elvis" sandwich. I ordered it and it was pathetic. It consisted of plain fried sandwich bread which was not adequately spread with peanut butter, a sparsity of banana slices which exposed the unbuttered bread, and completely lacked any honey or the added bacon I ordered. Do you really think Elvis went out eating something as amateur as that? I could have made a better version when I was 5. My order for a strawberry milkshake was taken, and then 15 minutes later I was told they had no more strawberry. As far as the service, there basically was none. In addition, employees were all eating off the same shake behind the counter where food was being prepared.

The 50s style atmosphere and excellent twist on the 50s diner fare make this place excellent. My buddy had a burger, that was seared to near crunchy on the outside but still juicy on the inside, with a green chili on it and some avocado to cool it down. Well rounded and exciting. I had a fork and knife hotdog that was almost the same thing, but my hotdog had a slice of bacon with the chili. The chocolate malt we each had was perfection. Not too much chocolate, not too much malt to make it gritty, the right consistency to make it easily drinkable. Service was very quick. Food was excellent. Id definitely come back again

This place is a hit or miss. I have come here to eat due to its close proximity to home. In the handful of times Ive gone, the service is a little slow and something always gets forgotten from my order. There are new servers each time I go, so I assume they must be new and learning. FOOD: I love to eat their patty melt with fries. The burger is very fresh and tasty. The bread is toasted just right and the fries are nice and hot. I recommend dipping them in their habanero ranch sauce. I would be a regular if the customer service was a little better but I will definitely go back for the fries.

Menu seems items seem tasty, I ordered chicken fried steak my first visit. Food was good came out hot and fast. Flavors were mild almost blan but appetizing and edible. The table service is a tad bit weak I was the only customer for around 35 min and have not received water or condiments to go with my food. This would be really my only complaint with my experience I have written this review and have been waiting on a check for almost 10 min. I will definitely come back to try their luch menu. They are going for a hop shop diner feel so Im looking forward to cheese burgers and malts.

Great burgers, super friendly staff and a great location are what I love about this diner. I always get the burgers, but others in my party have tried other sandwiches as well with great results. They are always really well made with quality ingredients. The sides are awesome too; fries, or home made potato chips, or fresh made macaroni salad. Ive tried them all and theyre great. Highly recommend you check out this place.

Waited 45 minutes for food. Had a prior engagement so asked for it to go. I think going up to the counter after waiting reminded them they had two tables to serve, not just one. Checking later I found that instead of my "giant blueberry pancake" I had a to go box with two eggs and two strips of bacon. And nothing else. I dont even understand what happened. 45 minutes to make two eggs and two bacon strips. Im floored.

Oh my gosh this place ia what Ive been looking for. I love looking for the good old diner eating places cause I love that theme and this place was it. The service was wonderful the food was delicious and best of all its a local business. I really thought it was awesome that on the tables there was an explanation about the restaurant. So it was easier to have patience while waiting for you food. Go and give it a try.

Wow. Off the main street in Glendale, so possibly not as well known as it should be, though Im sure there are plenty of regulars ~ and I am going to be one of them! Andrea has a real gem here; Andrea is a gem herself! She reminds me of a very young Teri Garr. =) She stood by our table and chatted with us for a while, and it made lunch there even better!

If you are on your lunch hour DO NOT stop here. My 15-20 minute wait for food became 54 minutes. Its a club sandwich and french fries for heavens sake. If I could get this toasted parmesean bread anywhere else I would. Like maybe drive to Tempe and back to Glendale before this shop could get food on the table. HORRIBLE service.

We got our beverages but that was all we got in the hour we sat and waited. The owner came over upon our arrival but afterwards only looked at our food-less table from afar. I felt sorry for our server as it was her first day on the job and the owner put her on the floor without properly training her about the menu.

Worst service I ever had and I have been coming so today I order a turkey sandwich and they didnt toast it maybe I should of been specific the waitress took my plate said shell fix it never came back with food and just took a dollar off Im never coming here again and I didnt leave a tip Im so disappointed!

Burgers were great, prices were good. Staff seems new to the food service business, but they are trying. It felt strange to have to blow on the burger and fries because they were hot off the grill, unlike at fast food places where food is warm or room temp. Will return to try the shakes and other items.

Ordered a grilled cheese and the wait took forever, the waitress didnt refill drinks and kept talking to kitchen staff/other customers, only gave them two stars because the grilled cheese was the only good thing from this restaurant :/

I used to work in the area and we eat at this place three times a week. Just stopped in after about a year away and I now know why Ive been home sick, the owner and the staff are very friendly and the food is definitely home cooked.

Service was slow. To say the least Fish was all u can eat but we were done with the hard crusted fish. Before waitress came to find out if we needed more I do love the cafe look tho Would come back but not for fish
