This place is better than when it was down the road (I had given it 1-star). That old shop did not use clean practices, was expensive and had bad coffee. After the move, the coffee seems to have improved a little. Unfortunately, the little envelope they put your baked goods into is open on two sides, unlike literally everywhere else. Instead of handing it over, he placed the cookie flat on the counter. I grabbed my drink and with the other hand pinched what I believed to be the opening to lift it up, but the cookie rolled out the side and onto the ground. He gave me a "welp, that sucks" look, and thats it. Pretty annoying.

We were on a downtown coffee crawl to check out the local third wave shops, and this was stop 3. Batista recommended their cold toddy & Chai latte. Chai was a bit sweet for my tastes, but it is made to order, so Id request less syrup next time. We usually drink espresso shots so I was expecting to find the toddy to be too weak for my tastes, but I was happily suprised. It is something I would order again. Additionally, the Batista was awesome! After hearing about our adventure, she pointed us twords several other unique coffee shoppes. Only down side - if you want a decaf (which I often order), your outta luck.

I asked the barista for a machiatto (which was on the menu) and she seemed completely lost as if she didnt know what this was. First she asked me if I wanted it "standard" and I wasnt sure what she meant so I asked for it iced thinking she meant hot. Then she asked if I wanted whipped cream only. Then she asked did I want milk. I said yes and asked for whole milk. She then proceeded to make me a latte. It seriously seemed liked she was high or something. The medium latte cost me $3.75. Wouldnt mind the price so much if it was the drink I ordered, but the menu said $2.50 for a machiatto.

Was in search of another local business to give my monies to and saw good reviews for Jobot Coffee in downtown Phoenix and I experienced poor customer service. From the time I posted videos of the coffee shops aesthetic to my "hangry" mood kicking in, I spent a whopping 45 minutes waiting on a breakfast sandwich. When I asked the cashier for a refund, he did just that. No apology, no ownership, no customer service. Take your dollars else where my friends. Looks like Ill be back at my favorite coffee shop. Im pissed and hungry.

Have only had breakfast here, and its good at a good price. I love that they offer yerba mate as most coffee shops dont offer it. This place is fairly busy all the time, and the local art and music they support is huge in my book. This place is a staple in the Roosevelt Row. Dinged one star because Ive come in here dressed nicely for work, and I get the anti hipster vibe from patrons. Nothing against the shop itself, but the clientele can sometimes be off-putting.

The food and coffee are very good. Their iced toddy (cold brew coffee) is among my favorite. Everything I have eaten here has ranged from good to great. My favorite go to for the last few months has been the steak and eggs. Pretty arty clientele that makes me feel comfortable with the overall laid- backness of the place. Might be too "hip" for some people and there is attitude at times but if that doesnt bug you I highly recommend this place.

The coffee, tea, and food, are still excellent, transferring nicely from the original location. The service sometimes is not, and did not transfer nicely from the old place. I dont understand why drinks cant be brought to the end of the counter, instead of leaving them hidden in the middle behind other customers, when the people making the coffee and tea know the customer is sitting down at the end.

The staff here is very nice and the environment here is very friendly. I left my drink out when I went to the bathroom and one of the workers accidently threw it away since she was cleaning and gave me another one on the house and I thought that was very sweet of them since it didnt seem like a big deal to me. Also the cookies here are seriously amazing. The music here is also a plus.

The best coffee house in Phoenix. The people are great extremely friendly the best mocha and Ive never had in the state of Arizona. And the best crepes I would recommend Apple bacon crepes out of this world. You get the feeling of your going home. You can sit there and relax and watch the people come and go its a wonderful feeling. Hats off to the employees.

JoBot is the culture center of the Arts District. It just is. Layal said it best, Its where the artists and makers and movers and shakers and rebels and crazies and dreamers hang out. Its home. The new JoBot site is being converted to a cool, gone are the bright white lights and in come the soft warm lights, local art and funkyness. Long live JoBot.

Excellent coffee without the pretense. With neither disrespect toward JOBOT nor the genuine institution of 3rd wave coffee, this is certainly not a 3rd-wave establishment. You will find perfectly brewed bold roast drip and wonderfully thick crema layered on your traditional espresso. Lunch options are also earnest affairs that deserve your attention.

Nice atmosphere (not during First Fridays) and great savory crepes. Edit: they do not know how to make a chai latte. Had it twice and has probably been the worst chai Ive had at any cafe both times. Thought the first time was just a mistake, but apparently not. Chorizo crepe was great! Pricy, hipster, and the tables arent cleaned often.

At Jobot Coffee & Diner, you are in for a sweet treat! A Nutella strawberry crepe that is. It is lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar to your liking and complimented with a dollop of whip cream and a slice of fresh strawberry. If sweets do not entice your taste buds, try their delicious pork tora sandwich or turkey jelly melt.

Cool that they moved, however very unimpressed with the service. Been going here for years. I came in today and sat at the bar , gypsy was busy so I just waited patiently. I asked for a menu when she greeted me then pointed to them and made me feel bad. Lectured me and was super univiting ........ So ya fix that attitude please

This place has some top notch food, no doubt about it! A friend and I went there for the first time and we loved it, I hope that I will be able to get there at least once the next time Im in Phoenix. And, if I hear that any of my friends will be going to Phoenix, Ill be sure to recommend them to go to Jobots! :)

Good coffee. The cashier wasnt overly friendly but he did his job just fine. I enjoyed the atmosphere and just taking a moment to chill and stare out the window. Im a little tired of everyone weirdly asking "HOT latte??" when I order a latte but I guess thats just Phoenix since it happens everywhere I go. :-)

In door and patio seating available. Passed through this place while on the ale trail brewery crawl. The place was packed and coffee drinks looked amazing. It was 104 degrees outside and I dont know who would sit out there too long. They did not appear to have patio watt misters to cool it down at all.
