I spent a month and a half in in India eating everywhere I possibly could, and have met some very amazing Indian chefs here in the states, so I promise that this is not an inexperienced rant. It started off fantastic with some decent vegetable pakora and samosas. When we had arrived, the restaurant was not busy, yet it took close to 10 minutes just to get drinks to the table. In what I can only believe is a shortage of some special rice they have, Im charged almost $10 for 3 plates of mediocre rice. 90% of the Indian restaurants I have frequented, include rice with every dish you order, and one bowl is usually enough for 3 or 4 people. One of these plates is barely enough rice for one person. Then the dishes came out...murg makhani, saag ghosht, chicken tikka masala, and beef vindaloo, garlic naan, plain naan, and tandoori roti (there were a fair amount of people). Outside of the vindaloo being exceptionally spicy, which I like, everything else was bland. How the heck does anyone make bland Indian food? Im not sure how this is even feasible. The portions were ridiculously small for the prices theyre charging, also. Last but not least, naan should not be as crunchy as a cracker...but I solved the mystery before we had paid a ridiculous bill and left. They were all busy watching the "belly dancer" that they hire to come in on the weekends and dance. More over, I am not sure they could have heard themselves over the speakers that were turned up to 11. Overall, this place is a gimmick and perfectly setup for people who dont want the full experience. Going back to where I know I can get, near perfect Indian food.

This restaurant has good food. BUT the ambience is terrible. It is way too muggy. They lighting is terrible, the walls look dirty, the floor looks sticky. My server was terrible at communicating with me. She had no idea how to smile, how to ask simple questions like how are you doing today what would you like to order and so on. It really ruined the feel. THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE. And this is veeeery important. This restaurant NEEDS proper ventilation. Indian food is a very very potent food. The spices used to make the dishes hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. Not that big of an issue, but it STAYS IN YOUR CLOTHES, HAIR AND SKIN WHEN YOU LEAVE. I am not being unfair with my review. I love indian food, cook it all the time, and frequent indian restaurants whenever I can. They really need to change the lighting, clean the place up, teach the servers how to be polite, and ventilate the kitchen. And definitely over priced.

The food was mediocre compared to other Indian restaurants Ive been. But the service was ABSOLUTELY horrible. My friend & I had gone here thinking "Oh wow 40 something reviews all rated 4 so and so stars." So imagine we had high expectations. We arrive here and the place was dead. I look to my right there are literally 4 tables left unclean by the staff who were meandering behind the bar chatting. The floor was a mess with napkins and crumbles of food everywhere. After sitting down, my friend & I waited 15 minutes for the menu, NOT THE DRINKS, but the menu and our waiter scurried away after doing so. Then we waited another 15 minutes to order and we hadnt even gotten to order our drinks yet. Overall, the food was ok, (they skipped out a lot of meat on the dish I ordered prices at $12) but the whole service experience was crap. I dont think Ill be coming back to this place any time soon.

Tried veg lunch buffet on 16-jun. veg food very less varieties(2 Paneer curry, 1 Tarka Daal ) with naan bread and 1 veg rice. Buffet Appetizer order has been taken on starting time but they served at the time we complete the lunch, so we ended up in thorwing becoz they did not allow for TOGO pack and more over we are already full. Price is $16.95 on friday + tax + Grauity, so total cost of the food is $21.95. Food is ok but not worth for the price of $21.95. I dont recommend lunch buffet for this price. Also there is an employee argued with us that appetizer will be served with the food but not at the starting time, we were surprised with his reply. Horrible.

I cannot give them anything lower than a 1 star but this place sucks!!! NEVER come here. Husband and I wanted to tryout this place for the first time and waitress was rude and didnt acknowledge the fact that we waited to place our orders for over 10mins. She offered us water when we were seated and never came back. She stated she was just assisting other customers when clearly there were none. Or maybe standing behind the counter is the new way of waitressing? Either way bad service all around. Even after we complaned of bad service she still asked if were going to want the waters!? Seriously?! Ugh. Never going back!

The food was amazing! Our server was so helpful and our glasses were never empty. Did I say the food was good? We ordered several dishes and just kept passing them around. I didnt find one that I didnt love (even my girlfriends vegetarian dish). Everyone should try this place... actually, maybe you shouldnt go here because I dont too want it to be packed every time I go. The price was reasonable ($15-20)and the food was amazing (if I didnt say that already).

The food has been great the five or so times I have gone here, however I have only had good service one time Ive gone. The first time I went there it took fifteen minutes for the staff to notice we had arrived and we were about to leave. If you make the mistake of calling when the kitchen is closed in the afternoon, they will be rude. But, the food is good enough that one can look past that. The lamb tikka masala is addiction worthy.

The food is good and it makes me come back every 6 months or so. However, the portions (at least take-out) are very small and very overpriced. 4-5 small pieces of chicken and pathetic amount of gravy just not worth $25 per meal (1 dish, rice and naan). I used to be a regular customer at Tandoori Times 3 (went out of business a couple of years ago) - same pricing policy but at least the portions there were a lot more generous.

Most amazing chicken Tandoori Ive ever had flavors cant quite describe but cooked to perfection a little dry though I have to admit that but the flavor way makes up for it they do have a mango drink that is so damn good I unfortunately the service is slow as s*** its very annoying at times when youre the only person there and its still taking almost an hour to get your food otherwise a five-star spot

For a supposedly "high end" establishment they are unable to split a bill because they dont use computers for their ordering. Everythings on paper, no POS system. The food was decent but the description of the food is not "exact". I might try them in 6 months from now and see if they are more competent and change their menus as well. Avoid until at least 7-13-12

Had a bad experience... We went in at 9:15 pm on Saturday. We were seated, but not attended for 20 min. Then we went to the counter and told them so. When they gave us the menu we were told that we have 2 min to give the final order as the kitchen is closing. Since the kitchen was closing, of course the food quality was not so good. Very disappointed!!!....
