Cant really give any Stars because nothing happened during my visit. Read some good reviews so I thought I might give it a try. Waited at the Hostess Stand as requested by the sign posted there and......waited, no one came. Dining Room had a party of 10-12 gentlemen and a lone woman with 3 young children running in and out of the patio area. Waited, no one came, a woman walked out of an office behind me and went to the Lounge area without saying a word. Waited some more, no one came. Eventually the woman from the office walked through on her way back to the office and asked if I needed help. I replied, I was trying to get some breakfast but no one is here to seat me (as I pointed to the sign), her response was "Oh they forgot to take that down from last night". She then flipped the sign around and told me I could sit anywhere. This whole time I never once saw a server on the floor so a party of 10-12 had no return visits by an employee. I found a table by the window and sat with my menu and you guessed it........no one came. I stood up, walked through the dining room and out the front door. No one came. Apparently I have Super Powers I was unaware of, ssshhhh Im invisible.

When you first enter the restaurant the smell of stale smoke smacks you in the face. The décor is so worn down I do not think it has ever been updated. The view of the greenish/brown pond is the only relief that you get from drab run down dinning room. Our waiter was inattentive and disorganized, we had to ask him multiple times for the same things throughout the meal. Every time we asked him for something it would be 20 minutes before we saw him again. He messed the bill up and it took him 15 minutes to fix it and another 15 minutes to bring change. I ordered the eggs benedict which I thought tasted great. My husband on the other hand ordered the chicken fried steak skillet which was burnt and extremely chewy. Overall this was a poor experience. The only reason I would go back would be to sit on the patio when the weather is nice and drink a beer!

Nice enough facility if somewhat shopworn but the food was mediocre and the service very slow. Weve been there twice in the last four months and both times they were out of their advertised special with three more hours left in dinner service. Since there were only three or four parties in the dining room (6:00 PM Saturday), they must have inventory control problems. Salad was old, wilted greens and definitely do not request the blue cheese dressing (watery and tasteless). Prime rib, ordered rare, was overdone and had no flavor. One of our party ordered a burger and got what looked to be a Costco frozen patty special with no flavor.

My book club group went to the Iron Works for our monthly meeting two years ago. We had been meeting at different restaurants each month but now we have made the Iron Works our regular meeting place! We love the atmosphere and the staff always remembers our favorites. The management has accomodated our every need and we all like the food which is even better with the new menu they introduced this spring! For west side location, food, staff and price, you cannot beat it!

This place was horrible! Ordered a bloody mary and it was straight tomatoe juice. Husband ordered the steak and eggs and the steack was grey! I ordered egg benidict and one eg was perfect but the ham was too thick and dry. The other egg... saying it was o ercooked is an understatement. I wony even get into the cobs webs and dust hanging all over the fake trees. I am baffled by the 4star rating of this place.

We were in the Bellair area and decided to stop at Iron Works for their all you can eat fish fry. The fish was very tasty and cooked to perfection.served with fries and coleslaw which were also very yummy. Wait staff were very friendly and quick to bring more fish or whatever else you desire more of. And they also have a great window area to view the golf course and ducks.

My husband and I really do enjoy coming here weekly. The wait staff are so friendly and I have not been disappointed in any of the meals. Always served hot and prompt. Service in the restaurant can be slow due to understaffing so we prefer dining in the bar. This is a great place to come and unwind, kick back, listen to music and enjoy hanging out with friends!

I enjoy going to Iron Works to watch the Steelrs Sunday Football games. The staff is great and the bar is never over crowded so you dont get that typical sports bar yelling and screaming. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I just wish they would stop adding disgusting spices to the Bleu Cheese dressing. Smells like dirty armpits.

My husband and i had our wedding ceremony and dinner here this past summer. The server was nice and the busser was very polite and helped keep the party going! Both lewis and debbie helped make sure everything went smoothly the entire process! Great food and great atmosphere
