Basing this on one happy hour visit, but very long term resident. Extremely good chips & salsa! Im very picky about salsa (chips too) Great service, killer prices, right on the downtown green strip, views of the fountain for tourists & visitors. Update: Four more visits, all for dinner. Family loves the interesting and different menu. Perfect portions and great taste. Very friendly and efficient service. Definitely on our Fountain Hills factories list!

The intimate and casual environment in Sofrita is complimented by warm and friendly service, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The food is fresh and delicious, the serving sizes perfect. My favorite dishes so far are the olive tapenade bruschetta and the shrimp street tacos, and I cant wait to go back for more.

A bit slower paced place to come and relax but the food is excellent. We do breakfast here all the time on the weekend, never disappointed. One of those quiet hole in wall, well appointed places with a talented kitchen staff. This will continue to be part of our weekend fun.

Cute restaurant. Service was ok. The food had zero flavor. No salt no pepper and absolutely no flavor. Slasa tasted like water . I filled up on guacamole which tasted like an avacado no flavor. VERY pricey for what you get. Will not recommend to anyone

Overrated. Had the ropa Viejo and it was not very good. Small portion for price, tasted like roast with canned tomatoes. No chips or anything at the table. No rice with food entree. Not worth the money.

The $1 black bean tacos are awesome! I love that this place offers vegan/vegetarian options. Their happy hour is very reasonable. This is my favorite place in town, and I highly recommend it!
