We are here for the first time. It was à Saturday afternoon. They were not too busy at this time. We were seated right away and the waitress came by and took our drink order. Told us about specials and food portions and gave us time to look over the menu. When we were ready she was there an took our order. It may have took a bit longer than what we expected but not bad or worth getting upset about and she came by several times to check on us. Big tall glasses for drinks, I love this because I dont have to get refills with these glasses and they didnt over ice the drink. Where we sat we had a nice view of the river. Nice tables and seating. Has several TVs through out the restaurant. A game room with electronic games as well as a pool table. Look like an area for karaoke or a band maybe. The food, was served hot. I had fish n chips, curly fries hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes. The fish was light and flakey. The fish could have been a little thicker but that was the only thing I would doing it on. Very good breading and I really liked the tarter sauce. Curly fries were hot and crispy. The hushpuppies were perfect. I never had fried green tomatoes before, but I would order these again. Breading was good, it was probably a whole tomato sliced up. They were sweet and fresh. My wife had a stuffed burger. With the cheese inside two half pound patties. Fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. Fries on the side. She could only eat half of it. It was cooked the way she liked it. I dont have anything really bad to say about this place. Its a great hometown restaurant with a large variety of good food. I would like to see how good the service would be during busy times and try more of their entres. There is a lot I would like to try. So I will be going back. Then maybe Ill up it to a 5 star rating. Prices are OK, some things really good others a little higher than I would expect. But affordable. I dont really get the dine in price vs carry out price. That should be the same. Because if I order it and sit for a second and ask for the Togo box I would get it cheaper than carry out. So they may want to make it simple. Dine in price same as carry out. So overall good food and entertainment and you should try this place at least a few times!!!

The food was okay (the wings were overdone and not coated well in sauce). The worst part was the manager. We asked her to help our waitress split our order (we were a large party and she was struggling to split us properly; Not her fault she just needed a little help) and she immediately became defensive. She scolded us for our children being too loud (in a near empty restaurant that had an arcade for kids anyway, I mean, cmon) and then raised her hand to slap my 17 year old niece when she asked for help. The manager then had her entire kitchen staff come from the kitchen to "defend" her (stopping them from cooking current orders) and called the cops to come escort us out when all we did was ask for her help in getting us our checks and didnt even get upset when she started getting threatening. Overall, it was a situation that couldve been nipped in the bud had it not been for an overly aggressive manager who couldnt even be bothered to help a fairly new server with a very large order. A waitress stepped up, handled the problem with class and had us out in no time. If this restaurant hopes to remain open I strongly suggest a managerial change. This was my first time at Coaches Corner, my friends and I wont be back.

We went Thursday for the all you can eat wings which are great with several different flavors to choose from. The wings are medium to large sized. I personally prefer the 911 which are hot enough to clear the sinuses of those at the table who can smell them. The ranch dressing is really good as is their blue cheese. We had 6 adults 2 teenagers and 3 kids between the ages of 6&12. Our service definitely left much to be desired on this particular trip which leads me to my one big negative about this restaurant. We were left waiting for more sauce and dressings for 10-12 minutes and several requests were made during this time. Gratuity is added to the ticket at a rate of 18% Our gratuity portion equated to almost $13. Our drinks sat empty for quite some time with us receiving our initial cup and one refill so that combined with having to delay eating the fresh hot food while waiting on sauces I think that type of service doesnt add up to that size gratuity and the mandatory gratuity may play a role in that level of service. The server could have the mindset my money is maid so they get what they get and that is the fastest way to run your customers off.

Worse wing night ever!!! We waited 10 minutes for a table that wasn’t even clean and was empty the whole 10 minutes we waited. Then the waitress seemed as though she had better things to do, than service us. One time my husband said miss and she just but up her hand as to tell him to wait and walked away. Can we say rude! My husband and I ordered the all you can eat wings. Well let me just tell you, you better figure out when they are frying up a new batch of wings because the ones we got were SO dried out and tough that my teeth still hurt. Also when I said to the waitress these wings are so tough she just took them away and brought new tough ones and said maybe these will be better but probably not. REALLY!!!! So then she tells us that they cook up a batch of wings at one time and then service them until they are gone! Well that would be the reason why they are tough! This is Wing Night this is the night to show off that you have good wings not serve me wings that are going to brake someone’s tooth (lucky that was not me). That is the last time I order their wings. Their famous wings yeah right... famously tough!

My score is no reflection on the wait staff. They are always friendly and efficient. My score is for an establishment that participates in food fraud. My advice. Dont order a grouper Caesar salad at this establishment on all-you-can-eat-catfish night. Theyll do to you what they did to my husband and me. Serve us the salad with catfish instead and swear its grouper. Either the cook didnt know the difference between the two fish, or he/she was too lazy to cook two different kinds of fish. Whatever the reason, it shows a lack of respect for customers. Heads up dingle-berries. You customers actually know the difference between the two, and Im one of them!

I dont mind waiting as long as we are being noticed. And the food is hot...and of course good when we get it. And as long as we have a beverage while waiting. But poor service, less than "C" rated (cold) food, and poor attitudes will not be given more than three chances with me. My visits were spread out over 18 months hoping for the best. It will take a major turnaround......new owner with skills to get me back. What a fantastic location to have a fantastic restaraunt/bar. Good luck.......seriously.
