June 17th 2017 we went into the Sanbar and Grill, for our very first time. Newer to the area we decided to try here. I dont foresee us going back. It wasnt bar time it was dinner time we went. It was very busy, but why wouldnt it be? People love eating at restaurants! So we ordered a VERY SIMPLE meal.... she had a panini I dont recall if it was chicken, or turkey... but do know she ordered it with out tomatoes, and also a cup of soup. I believe loaded potato. Pretty simple meal right? Well not that simple for the staff. The soup didnt ever come to the table... doesnt make sense. Then the panini had tomatoes on it! I saw server write no tomatoes on the ticket. And soup on it as well. Then I ordered a Black and Blue burger "medium" damn I was looking forward to the juicy and moist bite of my burger. But welllllllll I work in food too, as we sat there talking for 40 minutes waiting for our food as we believe the owner went to many tables and had smiling conversations with patrons.... and our server didnt bring the soup, and our food was being prepared incorrectly, I said to my fiancé, "I bet my burger will be well done, and cold.." well it was warm and waaaaaaay past medium! Our server came back to table after taking the panini and simply took of the tomatoes, there was still tomatoes seeds n juice all over the lettuce! NOT COOL!! Make a new one!!!!! Then I had cut my dry well done burger in half to show her it wasnt right. No red, no juiciness, anyway. As I told her "your cooks suck", two items on one order wrong..... not her drink though that was correct and she liked it! So to end this. The owner didnt come talk to us, we werent rude I guess he doesnt talk to unhappy patrons nor does his wife, Cus they were sure running around and helping other people and sitting with them often. He sure looked at us a lot and I hoped I would be able to tell him about this. So after an hour there all together we left more hungry than we can in, and went to another LOCALLY OWNED place and wow what a great experience, sorry sandbar owners and staff, we had a bad time there! We didnt even eat!! Thanks for allowing us to know not to come back, oh and thank the bartender for being the only one who did their job correctly.

My fiance and I went to this restaurant June 17th 2017 for an early fathers day meal. We had a busy day and were really looking forward to a good meal. First off our waitress comes to take our drink orders and while she was doing so she rubbed her leg on my fiance s leg a few times and smiling while doing so. She was very quick to refill his not even half gone soda while my water stayed empty until I had to wait for about 15 min and asked finally. When she refilled my water I also ordered a drink from the bar. It was a good drink but did have to wait for almost 10 min for my new water and drink. I had ordered a turkey club panini with no tomato and a cup of soup. He ordered a black and blue burger medium. After around 45 min of waiting and this waitress clearly flirting with my fiance we finally get our food. I never got my soup and my sandwich was covered with tomato after this was pointed out she grabbed my plate said she would fix it and simply went to the back and picked the tomatoes off of it. To me thats nasty. Servers touch money people and Lord knows what else so to just finger thru someones food is not ok. And if someone per say has an allergy to tomatoes just picking them off could still cause them to have a reaction since the juice and seeds are still on the food. My fiance burger was way over done and almost burnt. We could see the owner laughing while talking to our server while explaining to her how to take the food off our bill. He never once attempted to come talk to us or apologize. So we paid for our drinks and left and went somewhere else that our food was done exactly right and we only had to wait maybe 15 min for our meal.

The food was excellent. It usually is. My husband and I eat there once or twice a week, but the service was not good and I believe the waitress had an attitude! The waitress was a new girl, very matter of fact, no smile. An established waitress brought us cokes and said our waitress would be by soon. 15 minutes later she finally came to the table, then she asked if we would like more time to look at the menus. She looked at our empty glasses many times but never refilled them. So I finally picked both of our glasses up and brought them to the bar myself, to be refilled. Not good service!!

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Friendly staff, good comfort-type food and good service. The food came in the right amount of time - not too fast or too slow- 15 minutes after ordering. I had one of their special mixed drinks, the Fruit Loop, and it was delicious and refreshing on a hot day.

Been coming here while vacationing for years. The "pretzel bun burgers" are a craving we take home with us. Even our local friends look forward to dining out with us. Never had a bad meal. Service is always excellent. Call ahead if you have a larger party or you might not get in.

They have great food and friendly staff but beware coming in with a group larger than 6. We visit with a group a few times a year but we are always packed in like sardines. Worse than sardines. It makes it less than enjoyable. Fortunately like I said good food and staff.

Onion rings were amazing. The presentation of some appetizers in a metal bucket is cute. They had some unique food choices, like a burger with peanut butter on it. Service was good.

Small town bar feel, clean and nice twist on menu. Not just deep fried & grilled food. Many custom recipes. White chix chili fantastic. So are artichoke and pepperoccini dips.

Ordered a burger MR it came W done. The pasta was ok, the chicken in it was over cooked and dry, pasta was swimming in sauce. We told the waitress and she stormed off.

The Kebab bucket is a favorite, man those are good! Also the chicken chili is very very good. Id recommend that to anybody. Nice outdoor seating in the summertime.

I live near by so I go here about once a month. Great burgers. The sand castle is a huge chips and cheese that will satisfy myself and 3 kids.
