My husband took me to Mexico Tipico this afternoon, hoping for a nice lunch with his wife. He looked forward to it and he didnt even want others to come along. However the experience today has made a non-customer out of us. I ordered a frozen Margarita. Unfortunately it didnt taste good. It tasted syruppy and gooey. I asked the waitress if I could just replace this with another drink. She said that they dont switch out drinks and if I wanted to speak to the manager. My husband spoke to the manager who repeated what the waitress said. Well I explained how it tasted. To be honest it really didnt taste fresh. Well, customers are pouring in there and to not even attempt to remedy a situation has definitely given this establishment one less customer. Frankly two, me and my husband. I had heard that Mexico Tipico had good food but NOT good Margaritas. Unfortunately I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ended up paying $7.00 for something I couldnt drink. Those frozen drink machines have to be cleaned daily and if the drink didnt taste fresh then I would hate to guess about the machine. The Waitress and the Manager took my appetite away. I ate a spoonful of the food but didnt want anymore. The experience left me upset. There are too many Mexican choices around here to be treated like that. Good Bye.

The food is usually good but sometimes the servers arent friendly or act like they dont really want to be there. Im not sure of her name but the Caucasian female that is a server is really awkard. She was complaining about having to work all day without a break...which I know is unfortunate but weve been there before...thats not something you should complain about to your customers. She said that I looked dissapointed in my food as if its not what I wanted which I wasnt but if it wasnt what I wanted..I wouldnt have ordered it and I would have told you that I didnt want that when you brought it. After that she kept coming back asking...."are you okay.......now?" About every 3 minutes. Which got annoying...because it seemed she just did it to be petty...but that may just be how she serves. When we go out to eat we like to be served but not every 3 minutes. We also like to have a little privacy. Other than that we have had okay experiences but I think we will go somewhere else from now on.

The service was excellent but the food was mediocre at best. The cheese dip was super thick and almost unbearable to eat. The salsa was good. For the Jalisco Fajitas you only got two tortillas. The lemons were brown and the chips were stale. Our kids ordered cheese quesadillas (thats their staple) and they couldnt finish their meal due to the taste. I tasted both and I agree with my boys - horrible. Ive ate at many Mexican Restaurants and this was one of the worst. We ate there because we were traveling and based on the reviews this was the best one in Millbrook. For 7 people and $95 later (with tip) we could have dined on better food for a lower price.

I grew up in Prattville always knowing Mexico Tipico had the best Mexican food around, but I had to prove it to my husband. We came to town for the recent graduation and he wanted good Mexican food, which is rare in Florida. So we ordered take out! He absolutely RAVED about how good the food was and how it was the best Mexican food he has ever had! He wanted to eat it again before we left the next day, but I wasnt having beans and rice for breakfast. Food is and always has been good, and youve made a new fan in my husband! Another great meal! Food was excellent, however was over priced. I ordered a vegetable quesadilla that on the menu said it was $5.99 and I being the broke person I am, figured it was a good buy. I got my receipt after I ate and it came out to $10.33, then when I asked them if they had a military discount so I could bring it to a more affordable price, they told me no, only on Tuesdays. So I ended up paying over $4 extra for a meal that cost $5.99. I am never coming back to this stupid restaurant

Waited in line for approximately 5 minutes.A group of 7 people came behind us. The employee new them and he asked how many in the party. He went and set up for the 7 returned and was going to sit without acknowledging us. The party informed him that we were ahead. He didnt seem to care. We left and we wont be back. We usually visited the place 1 or 2 times a month.

Im from Texas, so Im pretty picky about my Mexican food. Staff here was friendly. I ordered a super burrito to go. Paid about $10 but it included a bag of chips and salsa. The salsa was EXCELLENT. The burrito was OK. The meat tasted old and the burrito was more of a rolled up taco on flour than a typical burrito folded burrito. I would try this place again, though.

We go to Mexico Tipico often. Its the best Mexican Restaurant around. The Steak, Chicken and Shrimp Fajitas are to die for. Great service and food out to you fast always. I have never been disappointed.

Me Gusta este restaurante! :D Haha, The food is excellente, and compared to other Mexican Restaurants in the area, the ingredients are fresher and the dishes are not super laden with Grease. ¡Buen Provecho!

Best Mexican in town and possibly the nation! Im not exaggerating, I have grown up in Prattville and you cant come to this place without seeing people you know, and I love to support local businesses!

The food is excellent and the service is always good. My favorite dinner is Pollo Fundido. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Prattville and there are more than a few here.

Here we go again. If you are from the Southwest, you will not like this version of "mexican". Lots of cheap cheese and beef to keep costs down. Go with chicken dishes.

This place is basically the Applebees of Mexican food around here. Just go to La Taste for Vietnamese instead. Its right next door and their food is excellent.

Best Mexican food ever....the chicken quesadilla is the bomb!! Best cheese dip in town as well. Staff is always friendly, quick, and never get my order wrong.

My favorite place to go when i feel like eating mexican. One person even warned us before she gave one of us our fod, "Hot plate!" A great restaurant!
