Went here for dinner with some friends and had, simply put, the worst hibatchi experience in memory. They were busy, and instead of informing new customers of the wait, they pushed the cooks to shorten the experience to minutes. I can understand this to an extent. But then... Our table was sat with another group making a large U shape, a grill on either side. The cook came and cooked all of the food on one side with his back to us, with absolutely NO show. No retarded "egg roll", no fire, no volcano, no nothing. He came, he cooked, he left. My 3 kids were devastated as we had talked them all up about going. Now I can get food like this from a Chinese cafe for 7 to 8 bucks, but when Im paying 21 plus, its the experience Im paying for! Afterward when I pointed it out to the manager that I was concerned, I was simply told "we are very busy, what would you like us to do? People are waiting." I received my bill, 18 percent gratuity added of course, with a 10 percent discount... Needless to say I will never try this again. I have been to countless hibatchi grills and am happy to pay a premium for it, provided its actually done, but this place wont be stealing my business again.

I am sitting at the Osaka right now, my fiance and I have ordered 3 specialty rolls 1 chicken hibachi and 9 piece nagiri special along with 5 full orders of Saki with an extra order of the dynamite roll, we have sat for 45 minutes with nothing, after numerous requests along with having to wait 15 -25 minute intervals for our sake. Absolutely ridiculous, they claimed the microwave was acting up, I thought they used Saki warmers not radiation machines to warm sake- update : Its 3:24 now and I woke up with horrible cramping in my stomach, I am sweating, and cant stop running to the restroom.

I hate how people have one bad experience and then over exaggerate the whole thing. Luckily Im passing through town and I had a great time. The staff was very pleasant and my sushi was on point and my beer was ice cold. Even if my experience had gone the other way. I wouldnt sit here and dog them about it. Check this place out if you coming through this area!

I go to Osaka once a month or more for sushi & hibachi style food, but the real reason is the service. Everyone has a smile on their face & is super helpful anytime I need something. Their sushi is one of my favorites in Mobile & their hibatchi is fun to watch as well as a cook who will cater to you. Thank you for being great.

Had two really good experiences. Excellent wait staff, very friendly and they brought my food out quick. The stuffed jalapeños are really great, definitely recommend ordering thoes. The prices are fair and its nice and quite. Overall great place to eat!!

The woman on the phone who took my order is really nice! I fell asleep waiting for delivery (they werent slow I was just tired) and even after it took 10+ calls to reach me, she was still polite and friendly. Food was good too. I got the udon noodles.

Best Sushi in Mobile. Especially sitting at the Sushi bar. Knowledgeable Sushi Chef. Always cuts the perfect portion. Good, cold beer. Excellent saki, if slightly limited. Good specialty drinks. Service and friendliness A number one.

Salmon and Steak Hibachi. .........will have you fighting in here! Its soooo good. Steak could be a little better but its a low cut. Im sure their filet or N.Y. strip would be over the top good. You have to come and eat here.
