Typically enjoy coming to this Olive Garden for the soup and salad as well as hot bread sticks with Alfredo. The food is usually mediocre or better. The servings for the Alfredo are getting smaller and smaller each time. Our calamari was a slightly under cooked. My friends pasta was extremely bland. Not the end of the world. With that being said, all would have been completely tolerable if we had good service which we did not. Our server Myrissa, which Ive had a few times before, was the same as she was previous times. She seems to lack common social skills, does not acknowledge you when requesting for anything, isnt the most efficient when it comes to refills on drinks or salads, and dam near runs away after slamming your food and plates down on the table. Having grown up in a restaurant I thought maybe the last few times she potentially could just be having a bad day, but she is consistently terrible everytime. She really gives you the impression she hates her job and if thats the case she is in the wrong industry. I could have easily not cared about anything that went wrong if our server had a better attitude.

Hostess was absolutely terrible. Walked in and she asked me how many. When I told her 5 her response was "Ewwwww, were full." That made me feel as if she did not want us there. I then asked her what that meant and she responded with, "well it would be a few minutes." I told her ok we would wait. As my family and I were waiting, I decided it would be bet for us to go find somewhere else to eat. We got up to leave and the hostess approached me and asked me what was wrong and I told her I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager came out an asked me what happened. When I told him what she said, he said "well she meant to say that we were working in a table for you,". I told him thats not what she said. I told him I would be calling corporate headquarters on Monday to let them know about my experience. As I was walking out, the manager asked if he could ask me one more question. I stopped and said you sure can. He asked me if he could give me a gift card because of what I had experienced and I declined. If I didnt feel wanted this time, a giftcard was not going to make me feel wanted next time!

Leaving the parking lot now and not ever going back to this location. Today is my birthday and my fiance and I love olive garden but today showed me a side of them I wish I didn t have to see. We ordered unlimited soup and salad and we also chose a new dipping sauce to go with our bread. We got our salad and bread sticks pretty quickly but that stopped the quick service right there. We waited a while to get our sauce that was $3.49 for a very small portion, and then we never received our soup...25 minutes pass by and we watch as people receive soups at there tables we still have none. Our salad bowl was completely empty, our water glasses were empty and our waitress was no where to be seen. She finally returns to tell us that they are out of soup but working on making more...so at that point we just wanted the bill so we could leave. We got the bill and it was $17.06!!! For one bowl of salad...breadsticks and very little sauce, and two glasses of water. Very disappointed, I love this place...such a shame.

My experience was horrible. The waiter rushed us through our meal didnt ask if we needed refills, dessert, very unfriendly. But let me explain I contacted the manager the next day she was professional, caring , and generally a very pleasant person she rectified the problem immediately. Also general manager contacted me about problems he also was very concerned about how we were treated he then went about every and beyond to correct the problems. Thank you so much Mr. Shannon and Mrs. January for your time ,concern and caring attitude. You see I have stage 3c ovarian cancer sometimes I cant eat but I love Oliver Garden and was so disappointed. But they stepped up and handled the situation immediately. I thank you for your professionalism, caring , and concern for my experience. Made me feel like I counted as a person not just a customer or your bottom line

Today was our worst experience possible at Olive Garden in Slidell,LA. For starters let me just say we are frequently there for lunch during the week. Today our waitress was rude from the start. I didnt say much because everyone has bad days. While we were eating our entrees my mom bit into a breadstick that was just delivered "fresh" to our table. When she looked there was mold all over the bottom of her breadstick that was half eaten already. She immediately had to go to the bathroom because she was sick. We instantly got the waitress who was suddenly happy to help us and bring the check. She then got her manager and he appoligized and our meal was on the house. We will not be back for a long time if ever. This is upsetting because its my daughters favorite place to eat. Im not one to blast people or write a bad review but it was disgusting.

The water was phenominal! The waiter was alright he was a little bit**y when we told him the food was terrible, but he really worked hard to make it up to us afterwards. The lasagna fritters we soaked in grease, Im not sure the fryer was turned on. My stuffed chicken marsala was AWFUL the smell nauseated everyone at the table. Someone elses comment said something about the smell when you walked through the door and he is absolutely right there is a smell that permeates through the walls into your nostrils that doesnt go away for days...not to mention dirty silverware ,cold breadsticks, and over priced soup and salad. Management needs to take a break from candy crush in the back office and run this restaurant or he should start using his device to find a new job...it starts at the top and runs down hill from there....if you know what I mean.

Normally, Ive never had a problem with any Olive Garden, but today was horrible. We got seated, far off in the back and no one ever came back to wait on us. It was 3:40pm when we got in, and 4:10 when we left. Three different people walked by, a man was even setting the tables in the area, and no one said anything to us, no one asked if we were ready to order, no one alerted us that thered be a long wait! The place was dead, there were 2 other tables on the other side and us. One would think, after 10 minutes that somebody would have said something, anything to us! They didnt even say anything as we left. This was the most rude and atrocious experience Ive ever had at a restaurant!

The hostess was terrible.. My girlfriend and I were the first in line and she took the people that came in after us. We were stunned.. When we got to the table we sat for 10-15 minutes with no service! We had to ask for our drinks, while the people that came in after us were seated quickly and there drinks came out promptly.. After we asked for service things went really smoothly after that.. Im being gracious with 3 stars, probably because the tour of Italy tasted delicious! Next time we visit the area we will go to another Olive Garden..
