I had a great experience here. No one in the bar but me and the gentleman that was my bartender was friendly and amazing. He is a retired vet and had no problems visiting and sharing his experience. Im a visitor on my own and he went out of his way to tell me about the local spots. I wish I had got his name. GREAT GUY

Finally, a European bar on the west side worth a damn. Their original location is great, but the new place focusing on other European beers is even better as far as Im concerned. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and great selection. Hopefully this place will become as popular as it deserves to be!

Quietly a great little bar nestled between some bigger, louder, more commercial restaurant/bars. The Abbey has a great selection of delicious beers that nobody can pronounce, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed.

European beers and costs ciders. The day we were there they had a German Heff on tap that was a miracle. Weinenstephaner vitus. So good! We got a bottle. They also do 4, 8, 12, and 16 Oz pours, which is great.

Excellent beers on tap, insane bottle selection of German, British, Belgian, Denmark and other European bottles. They have my favorite things Ayinger Brau Weiss and castel ventrano olives. I love this place.
