Aston Oaks is built from a very nice piece of land in the "North Bend" area overlooking the Ohio River just southwest of greater Cincinnati. Apparently the land used to be part of President Harrisons farm overlooking the river and lots of mature hickory and oak trees. The course is a Nicklaus design, with some houses but most are set back in the distance. The course is very tight with demanding fairway shots and very fast but true greens. I enjoy the fact that you have options off the tee on many holes; play conservatively with an iron or aggressively with a driver. For under $50 you can play this course at peak time on the weekend and enjoy a very stern test of golf. I will definitely be back.

amazing course. very well taken care of and the employees were extremely nice and accommodating. even though there was a tournament going on, they fit me and a partner in to play as a walk on. the carts are equipped with gps tracking so you know how far from the hole you are as well as where the other carts are on the hole. if you get hungry or thirsty you can order refreshments through the gps in your cart. the fairways were wide and the greens played perfectly. i will be back again and again. possibly my favorite place to play in the area

My favorite public course within the I-275 loop. Where else can you play a Jack Nicklaus design course with amazing views of the Ohio River, wonderful terrain and trees. It is a little bit long (due to distance between hole and next tee as Nicklaus Design laid out the course first, not the subdivision), but the no-walkers rule (except tournaments), and the cart GPS technology keep things moving. Great course!

The layout is great, the condition of the course is bad though. Rough is very clumpy and I almost lost a ball in the middle of the fairway due to a series of large holes in the 11th fairway. Aston Oaks is out of my rotation until someone tells me theyve drastically upgraded their conditioning.

One of the best kept secrets of Cincinnati the staff is very friendly golf courses definitely one of the top 5 in the city. Take advantage of playing all year round with the covered golf carts with heaters

Great layout. Staffs are friendly. Few fairways are under reconstruction. But we enjoyed our round.
