I have NEVER been treated more rudely at a restaurant in all my life. Ive been in the restaurant industry for years, and usually Im very understanding. I know that its almost impossible to be friendly and peppy all the time, but there is NEVER an excuse to be rude, especially without due provocation. This is how my one wretched experience at B&B Fish & Wing went: We went on a Saturday night, but the place was almost empty. No one was behind us in line the whole time we were there, not even when we were waiting for our food. Since it was our first time, we had a few questions about the menu before ordering because it is a little unclear, so when I asked questions about the menu for clarification, the lady at the register gave rude, short, unhelpful answers, which was frustrating. Then, we finally figured out that we wanted a family-sized meal and the smallest chicken finger basket they had. The order rang up to be around $55, which didnt make sense because the family sized meal was around $25 and the fingers were like $6. When we asked why it was so much, the lady got an attitude and said she actually added an extra meal on there, on accident. No apologies from her. When we asked her to change it, she said the order would still be like $45, which STILL didnt make mathematical sense, even after tax. So, we asked again what she was charging extra for, and she rolled her eyes, and said that she charged extra because we wanted two different kinds of sauce. Really? How much do you charge when you want half of the wings one kind of sauce, and half another kind of sauce? Thats a standard request at all the wing joints Ive ever been to. So to remedy the expensive cost of our takeout meal, we asked her to just give us the meal with one sauce selection because we didnt know it would be so much extra. Once again, theres nothing indicating on the menu that there would be a hefty charge for splitting sauce preferences. Her response to our request? She ripped some paper off the pad that she was taking our order on, THREW it at us, and yelled at the guy behind her in the kitchen to change the order we werent even finishing ordering! The guy in the kitchen yells at us, "Are you serious?" I told him that we were. At this point, there was STILL no one behind us in line, which is not surprising, considering how they treat their customers. If I was not a nice person, I would have just walked out of the door and never came back. Or, worse, I would have given the cook and the cashier a piece of my mind. Instead, I waited for my food, silently vowing never to come again and to tell everyone I know who wants chicken wings to go to Zaxbys (which is in the same parking lot) or Buffalo Wild Wings down the street, which has better service. I will never be back. And that is a shame because I love supporting local businesses----but NOT when they treat their customers so rudely. O, and the food? It was just what you would expect. Standard wings, fingers, and fries. I would have probably enjoyed it if I wasnt so flabbergasted by their incompetence and rudeness.

First let me say this, while the food is good, there are three main problems that I have with this place. One: The menu is very limited. I think this is the reason I stopped going as much as I used to. I just feel like every time I go I get the same thing, and whole dont get me wrong, the food is good, I like trying new things. Two: Presentation of the food. There is no consistency. It is always a hit or a miss. Sometimes the good looks like it was professional put together, other times it looks like it was slung around in a car. Third: The attitude of one of the managers. This is probably the main reason that I will not be going back up there anymore. From past experiences, the male manager just glares at you. There is no indication that he cares or even wants you to be there at all. The female manager on the other hand is very nice and welcoming. When she made my dads wings with the wrong sauce one day, not only was she kind enough to replace them, but she let us keep the ones she had made. The male manager on the other hand, and this is the main reason I am updating my review was extremely rude. My dad got the same order he always gets; fish, hush puppies, and fries. He always gives me the hush puppies and fries, and having eaten their food about 10+ times, I know what their fries taste like; salty and with their own unique seasoning. The fries I ate had no seasoning whatsoever and no salt. I tried calling, but for whatever reason the number was disconnected. Got someone on the phone the next day who transferred me to the male manager. He said and I kid you not, "its just salt." Now if I took the time to call and submit a complaint, having worked at fast food before, you are supposed to take every complaint seriously and work to resolve it. He did not care whatsoever. He did not offer for me to bring my receipt up, mind you the receipt was a stub with nothing written on it, when I told him I called last night and the number was disconnected he just said okay, well its working now like I was lying, and then when I asked if he could replace the fries, he said next time just put some salt on them. NO BROTHER! Next time you arent getting my money. I dont care how good a places food might be, if your customer service sucks, your food sucks, and FYI buddy, Your customer service SUCKS!

I recently tried this place out after passing by it for the past year or so. My office is just a couple miles down the road and I was getting tired of eating what I like to call "chain food" from Zaxbys and Subway. The first thing I tried was the tilapia basket with fries and hush puppies. It was absolutely delicious. They really know how to cook up some fish. Since then, I have tried the wings, burgers, philly cheese steak...just about everything on the menu. I am sold, this is one of the best places I have ever eaten lunch from and to have it so conveniently located is wonderful. I can call from my office, wait a couple minutes and go pick it up. The food is always still hot by the time I get back to the office. Everything is cooked to order and is consistently wonderful. My recommendation is to go for the fish baskets first, then the philly cheese steak. After that, order some wings for yourself or a gathering. You will not be disappointed. Not only is the food delicious, but you get twice the amount of bland food you would from Zaxbys or Subway for less than $10.00. If you go with one of the lunch specials, they are just $5.00! That is for made to order fish, wings, salads, chicken, philly cheese steaks, burgers, etc., and all available with an big assortment of delicious sides. In response to one of the negative comments; I cant vouch for what happened that day, but they are a small family owned business, sometimes things dont go well or frustrations run high. I can however say that I have never had a negative experience and that they are always very polite and professional. I highly recommend trying this place out. Youll be a regular.
