I stayed close by for some time and this was a refuge from the rain and noise. The staff was awesome and I felt completely at home for the two weeks I was in Manhattan. Good guiness killer nachos. The popcorn and cheese ball mix was off the hook. I saw salmon dishes and other dishes that the kitchen put out and I would say they looked incredible! If I lived nearby, Abbey Pub would be one of the bars I frequented a few times a week for a beer, a relaxing night out or for their delicious dumplings. I know, right? Dumplings in a bar? Theyre simply amazing. Back to the good stuff, Abbey is a welcoming pub, with cool patrons, friendly bartenders and super awesome old-school wooden decor, detailed more than you can imagine. When you imagine a pub, imagine Abbey.

Stopped in for a quick drink in the afternoon. It was very quiet. The bartender was very friendly and the place was definitely what you would think of for a typical British Pub. Unchanged by trend and not worried about needing to be something it isnt. Cant comment on the food, but a good spot for a good pint or two.

Stopped in with my wife after a long day in the city, planned to have one drink and watch a bit of the ball game and ended up staying for hours. Great staff, good prices, good atmosphere, cant recommend a place more, Id move to the Upper West Side just to be close to this bar.

Great atmosphere, really familial. Awesome employees and owner! The chef is excelent, I have tasted my best burgers there and delicious quesadillas. If you like karaokes, every last tuesday of each month you can have fun with your friend in this very sympatic place.

Solid neighborhood pub. Bonus points: was not totally full and noisy, so we could have a nice conversation without yelling at each other. This time I only had beers; next time Ill try the food to maybe bump the score to 5 stars.

Amazing place. Great music, incredible people, and some of the best Barkeeps you will ever encounter. Relax and enjoy, or turn up with your crew they are ready and you wont regret it. Also, best buffalo bills bar in the city.

The beer selection is fantastic and low cost, two combos lacking in most New York bars. Only one waiter was working the whole seated area but he did a pretty fantastic job!
