I handed my ID to the guy sweeping the stairs, and he said to go right in. I started walking to the bar when this other guy stopped me dead in my tracks and asked to see my ID. I said, "Sorry, I thought the guy downstairs was checking." I handed it to him, and he handed it back without looking, and said I needed to find somewhere else to go. My girlfriend who was already inside came out to try and show him I wasnt just trying to add to the sausagefest. He still said I needed to learn some respect, and find somewhere else to go. Ive delt with bouncers of all varieties in my life, and Ive actually done things to get kicked out of a bar. Never in my life have I been stopped from going in for the a purely inane reason. I will never return.

One of the worst experiences ever. I was there with a group of friends to watch an SU game. We had a table. Before the game started, I had to take an important phone call, so I stepped outside. When I went to go back in, the bouncer refused my entry and told me I had to wait for the 20 people at the door to get in first. And they all could only get in one at a time as people left. I explained that I already had a table but he didnt care. The wait at the door seemed like it could be the whole game, so rather than stand in the doorway behind 20 people, I left my friends and my night was spoiled. Atrocious customer service.

My first time at Clinton Street Pub couldnt have gone better! It was a weekend night and full of people. The service was fast, and the bartenders were really fun and personable. They even gave me a free shot for my birthday! They definitely have the best specials and cheapest drinks out of any bar in downtown Syracuse. On top of it all, the DJ played great music too. Now, I actually work there because I was so impressed by the atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone. Plus, they have 3 really nice flat screen TVs to watch your favorite sports.

This place always smells! Theres sometimes a sketchy crowd. I was at the bar ordering a drink and the Guy next to me tried to snatch my cash right out of my hand! I was like "yo wtf maaan!?" An the barlady said "yeah sorry he does that all the time." They kicked him out but why even let the Guy in?

Wasnt crowded when I went but the service was slow. floor was sticky. They were friendly though. The Greek wrap was delicious. The homemade pickles are great. Wings looked pretty good. Burgers werent special by any means.

Expensive, $10 cover, poor service, and bartenders assume your change is their tip, floor sticky, wet and covered in spilled drinks and bathroom was small and disgusting. I will not be returning.

Lots of TVs, okay atmosphere. Psudo dance floor. The owner is not Irish. Whoever owns the place seems to be a guy who loves sports. This is really low on the list of bars to check out in syracuse.

In the past this place was a club bar. Open DJ, dance floor, limited tables and pool. Now its transformed into a sports bar, but it still holds its drinking specials and music.
