Liked about it? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Most disrespectful team ever! Only thing that was decent was the food, which took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. I reserved a table, online about 2 weeks in advance. I called 2 days after to confirm, & someone said they do not take online reservations (completely absurd) & had to make them over the phone. Upon arriving, everything was going fine. I asked the waitress for 2 extra chairs, she completely ignored my request. I, then, asked her for a cake, for the birthday girl. About 10 minutes after, all our plates were gone & the check was already on our table. After asking why the rush, she said "large parties have to leave after 1.5 hours (something they shouldve told us before making reservations)." We asked to speak to a manager & he proceeded to tell us that even if we order something else, we would have to take it & leave. 1- some werent even done w their meals 2- my sister wasnt done w her cake 3- my cousin had just arrived 4- most drinks were not even half way done & the waitress expected a nice tip, complaining that she "works for herself." Although she may believe she works for herself, she doesnt understand that she is part of the team, what one does, unfortunately, affects the rest. While leaving, the manager yelled: "We dont need people like you here." People like "us" support your business, ignorant ass prick. On that note, AVOID MAMAJUANAS CAFE INWOOD at ALLLL costs!

After having dinner and a great time at a restaurant in White plains ( Sofrito). Me and my group decided to go to Mamajuana to keep celebrating the two birthdays. We were sitting on a table smoking hookah and having drinks. Until a waitress-taps me hard on my shoulder and tells my group to get up with the security. I replied not to touch me, she said this table is for bottles only. I explained to the waitress since the moment we sit down we wasted over $500 in drinks between all. She replied, take all the drinks off the table now and the hookah and get up. As she was walking away, she bumps one of the individual from my group (by mistake) Im hoping. He spills his drink on his clothes and all over the floor. I never got treated so poorly in a restaurant. It was a horrible and super embarrassing experience. Mamajuana worker(s) need a (classier) and better way to communicate with their customers. Without physical contact, and at least giving the customer the option to finish their last drink.

una experiencia horrible , el servicio es malo y es bastante costoso , cobran un 18% de gratitud cuando el servicio no se merece ni dos dólares... y lo peor es que ahí cucarachas ... mucho cuidado !!! se pueden entrar a la comida y peor aun ensima de la persona.. a horrible experience, the service is bad and is quite expensive, they charge 18% of gratitude when the service does not deserve one dollars ... and the worst is that there are cockroaches ... be very carefully !!!

To say that i had a bad experience is only the beginning. The night was a disaster. Called at 1:30pm to make a reservation for 8 hours later only to then arrive and have to wait 25 minutes for them to set up a table! Having empty tables available it seemed the dilemma at hand was that another reservation, that arrived 45 minutes after we sat down need the chairs.... #really. No water offered blender was broken and food was cold! I wanted to share this so that someone can get their lives together because this was the first time i had ver gone there and hearing soo many good things to only have it spoiled because the runners were being insubordinate and waitress was too shy to speak up for her customers is unfair. The fact that i could see the breaks in communication that made not one but two people get up and leave on a friday night is sad for a restaurant that clearly haD so much potential and buzz. Lets pray this was a one time anomaly!

1. Created a reservation for 9 people at 7pm as provided by their website on Tuesday for dinner on Sunday (Mothers Day). 2. Called to confirm reservation a few minutes later, was told there are no reservations for Sunday (Mothers Day) 3. Received confirmation call from a guy named Brian. He wanted to make sure it was for dinner and mentioned that there were no reservations for brunch but they were doing reservations for dinner. 4. Confirmed reservation on Friday, by contacting them to their listed number. 5. Stopped by for dinner at 6:30 PM, place was packed. Told the person keeping track of the list of people waiting that I had reservation for 7 PM for 9 people. She mentioned to wait close by. Followed-up with her at 7:05 PM, she mentioned that there were a long list of people ahead of me. I asked how long it would take, she mentioned over 2 hours. Thanks for ruining my plans for Mothers Day dinner with the family.

If you are considering going to this place for dinner. FORGET IT! Go somewhere else. The staff were RUDE, improperly dressed, and just down right HORRENDOUS! The food was AWFUL! Several people from my party of 15 had to send their food back. I from the beginning didnt trust the place and "played it safe" by ordering chicken tenders with fries ($10!). What a mistake. It all tasted like fish!!! Soda was watered down and flat! The food was COLD and they rush you through it! No one from my party was at all pleased. The prices are outrageous. What a horrible experience! How these people stay in business is beyond me. If you are looking for Excellent food with unparalleled service go to EL CONDE instead! You wont be dissappointed. I went straight there after this place and it was absolute BLISS! Please,,,,HEED MY WARNING!!!!

I do not like to give bad reviews but , It has been the second time it happened to me, First time I went Mamajuana needed out table in order to seat another reservation, WTF we are still drinking and eating in lounge area, They bring the check without you asking for abit Annoying , the second time I went after have 4 Sangria Pitchers and dining a party of for they brought put table a " Birthday Platter" That cost us 25.00 dollars where have you seen this before, This was not mentioned until the bill came without us wanting it yet, After we argued with waiter the head Manager ( Nice gentleman ) apologized to us and offered one more round of drinks to the house. I would have to think about it twice If I would like to impress my Friends with there service..

Very bad service. First off lets begin with the manager. I didnt even know that he was the manager until they pointed him out to me, that just goes to show that hes far from professional looking and/or a decent human being for the clients to approach. Hes rude, literally NEVER smiles, and could care less about our service. My mother and I wanted to reserve a table of 10 people for my birthday party next weekend and he just made everything so inconvenient for our pockets and time! He offered us an unreasonable amount of money, and didnt even try to take time out of his day to actually show us around the restaurant for even 2 minutes. They need to fire that man immediately because if he is the face of that restaurant, its hideous!
