The hostess was very pleasant. The bartender was too. However, the worst part of mmy experience was waiting 55 min for my food which was only one dish (the Farafina Sampler). This was ridiculous. When the food finally arrived, as I waited for the jazz band to start...of the 6 items on the sampler only 1 piece of item was hot (crab dish). Everything was cold/room temperature. There were some little scraps of lettuce on the plate too, as if it was left over. I was hungry and ate, but it was far from appetizing or good. They have potential, but seems not able to handle a full restaurant. The Jazz was entertaining but I still could not get over the bad food experience.

Love this place! My husband and I went for dinner on the recommendation of a local and had a lovely dinner experience. The food was delicious! Our waiter helped us navigate the menu offering suggestions and answering our questions. While we waited for our food, he also offered drink suggestions which were we took, wisely. Drinks were unique and delicious. We were there for an early dinner so it was not crowded and as we were leaving the live music began, which I was great! Wish we couldve stayed longer to enjoy it but had another engagement. I would highly recommend the restaurant! The whole experience was outstanding.

I like the atmosphere of the cafe but the only problem i had was with the food. I said specifically if the cesar salad had only romaine, parmesan, croutons and chix i want it, he was unsure which i asked him to make sure beforehand. When i received my salad it had olives which i dont eat. The crazy thing is that its not just 1 or 2 there was at least 10 or more and it was literally mixed in the salad not only on top. Once again to the waiter please check with the kitchen before placing the order especially if you charge the person and they dont eat it. Thank you

Good food. Not your traditional African fare. My girlfriends and I ordered the sampler appetizer and 3 entrees. We couldnt find anything we didnt like. The dishes were surprisingly spicy, in the best way. The service was friendly and attentive. Good cocktails too. We were there during the live jazz night. That part was aight. Its a cool spot. I wonder it the menu changes because I think we ran thru the whole thing on this visit.

Nice space, great food and drink options. OK happy hour. Id come back the menu has tasty options. Had the sliders & crab farci. The crab farci seemed like it should have chips or something instead of a fork, but of so tasty. Oh, and the plantain chips, mmmmm. Come for those alone. NOTA BENE their Side Car is meh. Order off the drink menu.

A comfortable relaxed atmosphere and great drinks were served by a delightful staff. Especially nice were the bartender and manager, both greeted me with a smile. The musicians played a very nice variety of tasty music, from the soloist, and the house band that accompanied the singers during the open mic were all entertaining.

Great place with a beautiful ambience, delicious food and drinks with a state-of-art entertainment. Staff is very attentive and have tried their best to accommodate me and my guest to the best of their ability. I recommend the sea bream and definitely try their cocktails. They are super delicious.

One of the few places with live music on a weekly basis (and no cover as far as I know!). Blues night and open mic night are excellent. Their drinks are reasonably priced and delicious! Everyone I know seems to love their entrees although Ive yet to have any myself.

Whats not to like¿¡ Lobster ravioli, shrimp caesar salad, seafood/chicken risotto, umm the chicken wings, sliders..... And those are just the dishes Ive tired! The bartender is awesome, try the Jolly Rancher. Sit down enjoy, YOU Wont Be Disappointed!

Excellent. I celebrated my 42nd birthday here. Just a few ladies and they all enjoyed themselves. The love music was nice. I returned the following week. I live 2 1/2 hrs away. However it isso worth the drive.
