Girls behind the counter were not so bright, went in and told the cook Ill take the $4.95 omelette special that comes with home fries, one main meat choice and 3 vegetable choices to go into the omelette, just as the sign says that is hung on the glass salad bar window. He knew exactly what I wanted, especially since I motioned toward the sign when I gave my order. The cashier is right there, next to the kitchen (small place) and I walked up to the cashier and told her I was having the omelette special and a small cup of coffee. She must have been new because she hesitated, and the girl behind her turned to us and quoted a dollar for the small cup of coffee. She punched a bunch of buttons on the register and said "that will be $10.06" I said, "woh, wait, I got the special," and walked a step back over to the sign and pointed out what I got. She looked at the sign and obviously could not read it or understand it and so she became bewildered and started rambling in broken spanish/english, kept pointing at the boards above the stove and I said "wait, look here it says $4.95 for the omelette special I got," with the cook now watching and nodding in agreement with me. She became even more frustrated and the rambling in incoherent spanish/english kept going on and on, and the other three girls just stood there with the same confused expression on their faces. (too many girls behind the counter for a weekend afternoon, this guy who owns the place is losing money with four girls too many on staff or knows theyre incompetent and needs that many to do the thinking of just two) I ended up paying the $10.06, thinking Ill just take it up with the management later. I walked over to the sign and snapped a picture of it with my phone, and caught the girls all getting very nervous when I did that and started speaking nervously among themselves in huddle. I then asked for a receipt and the girls said "oh we dont give receipts..." What does that tell you right there? Id be glad to take this posting down if the manager does correct the situation for me please. I posted the picture and this review also on Yelp and a few other sites.

Im addicted to the Guadalupe burger currently. Can hardly talk about it, bc is so good. Veggie burgers can be sad, but theirs are plump, perfect texture and really flavorful. Plus any burger joint that offers roasted Brussel sprouts as a side will forever be in my heart. Interesting menu, creative and fun. And I know it might be daft to talk about vegetarian options in a burger place, but theyre so unique and delicious, its a must. My husband loves the proper meat options (which range from traditional to unique). Meat is perfectly worked and cooked. And the staff is fantastic! Ive placed a few take out orders there in person and have waited near the counter for them. Its a busy place, and it is a real pleasure to watch the kids work. They seem to enjoy what theyre doing and get along like a good crew should. Anyone whos hating on millennials should go watch these kids hustle. Theyve earned my Gen-X respect and loyalty.

Café ubicado en el barrio de Queen´s. Merece la pena visitarlo por el ambiente familiar que ofrece y por la calidad de sus productos. Es ideal para desayunar y almorzar. Todo es elaborado a la vista con ingredientes frescos y la atención de sus empleados es excelente. Ofrece lugares para sentarse tanto dentro como fuera del local y takeout. Recomendable!

I used to enjoy this place but my last three seamless orders have ended up being accepted and then never delivered. The issue steams from this restaurant closing early and not honoring orders, which was confirmed on all three orders with the restaurant staff. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly staff, esp for this area. Foods better than youd expect. When i ordered a side of bacon, they gave me a plate! They even made a custom smoothie for me. Only way this place could be better is by offering pasture raised / grass fed meat and eggs

Good food, but they have a tendency to charge more than they have listed for a product and can be inconsistent. This often tends to be the case with any sides. Its helpful when you know the price of something and can point right to it.

Great breakfast and burgers, the food is hot, fresh, and excellent! The restaurant is very clean and modern inside. The staff is very friendly. The Tribeca Burger is one of the best burgers around. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is great and close to the 7 stop. They have a bunch of juices, smoothies, sandwiches, sweets and grilled foods. A authentic alternative to a chain coffee shop.
