Wonderful new cafe that opened up a couple weeks ago near the ABCD trains at 145 and a couple short blocks from my house and the #1 train! The decor is pretty on point with that of Chipped Cup, to the point of wondering if its owned by the same people. Either way, coffee is great, wifi is free, tea selection is pretty good and they have a small kitchen! When I spoke to the manager during their opening, he promised there would be a selection of vegan food so I cant wait for them to bring that out! Seating area is small, so be sure to grab one as soon as you can and enjoy the chill vibe =)

Ive walked by this place dozens of times and finally tried it out. Its the best!!! Iced mocha is delicious! The breakfast sandwich on croissant (ham n cheese or tuna, both yummy). And my favorite dish is the Avocado Mash- this yummy mash of avocado over toast (with or without smoked salmon) is not to be missed. A real gem in upper Harlem, especially if you like a place to sit and write or meet up with friends. Really earthy friendly staff. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Sitio acogedor, con muy buen café y aperitivos. Las cookies están deliciosas! Hay wifi y baño. El unico inconveniente es que es un poco pequeño y si vas acompañado igual puedes acabar algo apretado

Quintessential NYC coffee shop. This is the type of local place that best helps combat gentrification. Great coffee and great people who work there. The charm and quality of this place can simply not be mass produced. Will definitely be a regular stop when Im in the neighborhood. Only nit would be wheelchair accessibility for those that need it, it located in the basement of a brownstone.

Cute little cafe thats in the basement - cozy and warm with friendly staff. It would be a bit hard to find if not for the sandwich board right outside. Their iced latte was amazing and they give it to you in a stay cup if youre staying. Real cups are the best way to enjoy your beverage. Im intrigued by their homemade cookies, maybe next time!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing (the avocado salmon mash was out of this world!!!!), the service is great and very friendly! I definitely recommend going! It was also Valentines Day so the girl working there made special little cupcakes which were so perfectly delicious.

I really wanted to like this place, but the cold brews we ordered were clearly not actual cold brew (rather, bitter iced coffee poured over an entire cup of ice), they were out of half the items on their breakfast menu, and the service was terrible. Would steer clear in the future.

Great mocha and delicious ham and cheese bagel. Best of all the service is wonderful. I came in for the open mic several days ago and when I came back to get food several days later my name was remembered and I was treated like a regular. Highly recommend this cool little spot.

Coffee was good but their avocado toast (Avocado Mash with Salmon) was made with packaged guacamole not mashed fresh avocados. Obviously it was disgusting and the staffs response was simply "thats just how we make it here. Is it not supposed to be with guacamole?" Sigh.

Its a nice little cafe to get away from the world. I would stop by for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on my way home from work. People usually come with their laptops and are working. Definitely recommend their tomato bisque and grilled cheese combo!

My girlfriend and I are here so much we joke that we should be part owners. Ive yet to have a better cup of coffee in all of NYC. The almond croissants are outrageous and the service is friendly and cool. Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Harlem.

Came here for some coffee and breakfast a few weeks ago. The young women working at the counter were super friendly and welcoming. Coffee and breakfast sandwich were good. Only problem was that it was sort of drafty, so didnt hang out super long.

Great little place with an adorable interior! Coffee is good and the people are friendly. Sometimes it gets a little crowded and busy when there arent enough people working. Drinks are still always great, though, even when theyre super busy!

Perfect coffee and great service... We asked via Yelp if he was open here in the blizzard and he answered within an hour. So we ventured out in the snow. Got really good coffee and chai latte. We also got sandwiches to go. Really good too...

Great drinks, baked goods, and sandwiches. Wifi is bad though, you get 1 hour free on the TWCWifi, and it doesnt work with VPNs and drops the connection constantly. They said the "SUGAR HILL CAFE" wifi is for the cafes use only.

Ive probably been here half a dozen times now. I love the ambiance of the place - from the natural light, to the seating and sense of space. I also love the friendly service and the great coffee & tea - as well as the food.

Stopped by on a chilly day with my daughter for a cup of hot cocoa and the young man behind the counter took his time to make her a marshmallow bear. It brought a smile to her face and earned him a tip lol.

Cute interior. Food and coffee were great, but seems like food options mainly limited to sandwiches on bagels or croissants. Overall a nice, quiet environment with great coffee and light breakfast options.

Coffee is decent for New York. Ambiance is good. But be aware, the breakfast sandwich doesnt have eggs. Thats like a pizza not having cheese. You have to tell people ahead of time.

Its a cozy cafe with a good selection of baked goods and coffee plus non-coffee options. When I came in it was pretty crowded so I can see why theres just free WiFi for 1 hour.

First place I stopped at when I arrived to NYC. Very nice and helpful staff, Incredible coffee, and yogurt parfait was the best Ive ever had. Will definitely be back.

Quaint and lovely little place in the historic Sugar Hill district of Harlem. Delicious coffee, lattes, tea, pastries and light fare. A little gem in the Big city!

Hot mocha is delicious! Love the atmosphere. Quiet and tranquil with great jazz playing in the background. If you come here please try the prosciutto panini!

A hole in the ground, almost like a portal into a coffee boat. Pallet furniture and burlap bags with the seats that surround a bright red bar. Very awakening!

Nice people and good food. Quite a small place so it can get crowded pretty quickly. Free WiFi is available, but only for an hour.
