The music at our first jazz brunch at the Blue Note was fantastic! Kyoko Oyobe provided the perfect Sunday morning soundtrack. I loved her music and her vibe and her band. Now, the Blue Note is probably not exactly sought out for its menu as opposed to its music, but the food was good, and our server was really helpful about making a substitution to accommodate my vegetarianism in terms of a dish I wanted, and the home fries were like a cross between hash browns and mashed potatoes, which was amazing. Absolutely worth going.

Is it fancy? Nah. Does it looks like it should be? Nah! Good stuff. I had their pizza rolls -- one veggie (primarily spinach and garlic) and the other pepperoni. The cheese was far superior to the mozzarella crap-o-la you usually find at low-grade pizza stops. So instant upgrade in my book. Quick, fast, and pleasant service. Thumbs up and belly full!

So good we went there twice during our 4 day trip! Service is great, the people are friendly, and the pizza is terrific. Very cute little place, nothing fancy, but with great food and great service, they dont really need anything more.

Pizza is delicious!! Lasagna is terrific and they have a lot of variations of italian food. Good place to sit with your friends and chill. And it was cheap. I ordered a slice, a lasagna, a calzone, and three drinks for only 18 bucks!!

The BEST pizza and rice balls in New York. Authentic Italian quality and fairly priced. This is a multi-generational family run restaurant and their food is definitely Made With Love! You can taste the difference.
