On a whim for some authentic Italian pizza, I stumbled into Ribalta just by searching for pizza on Google Maps. My first impression by walking into the restaurant, I was caught by the warm and inviting decor with lots of ambient lighting. (caught this place just before sunset). My date and I started our evening with their burrata starter and moved into their individual pizzas. Hes a vegetarian, and they offered plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Our server was somewhat inexperienced, but made up for it in personality! Once we received our meal, which was quick and hot, the place was packed with patrons including a couple of celebrities that make the villages their home. Cocktails were refreshing and beer selection was so-so, but the wines were choice with a selection that could easily be paired with any dish on the menu. The starter of burrata was delicious, fresh, and tasted as if it was fresh from Italy! Pricing was fair for this type of establishment. I would call this place authentic, fresh, and humble!

State ancora lì??? Corrte da Ribalta, non ve ne pentirete. Parola da Runner...

This Neapolitan pizzeria is the real deal. The staff all speak Italian to each other, the menu outside of pizza has variety - we ordered the octopus carpaccio which was perfectly seasoned with some lemon and olive oil, and the roasted eggplant that was in a tomato sauce, so full of flavor...and I dont usually even like eggplant! And dont even get me started on the bread they put on the table....so good. I wish they didnt put it down though, I cant resist bread and then Im too full for pizza. They have two types of pizza (and then varieties within those types), one of them is called pala and its double baked. GET THAT ONE! The crust is ridiculous, Ive never had crust like that before. Its so flaky and crunchy and the dough inside is so soft and perfect. I cant wait to go back.

So many great reviews on so many different sites and I had the pleasure of experiencing 5 star service. The staff members were all polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The ambiance in the room was relaxing and didnt feel overcrowded for a small venue. I was surprised the prices on the menu werent outrageous for the special ingredients they add to their meals. The waiter recommended us a smooth bottle of red wine while we waited for the main course. The pizza sizes are great for two hungry individuals so I dont recommend getting one for each person. The pasta is full of so much flavor that I was not disappointed. Sadly we didnt get any dessert so I have no reliable opinion on that but I highly recommend this mouthwatering restaurant!!

This was quite the surprise for my visit to NYC. A lot of places were either crowded, a dive, or a chain-esq vibe. Everything feels extremely expensive, but Ribalta didnt have that. They were lively and the atmosphere charming and well laid out. A variety of table types and seating arrangements. Ribalta hosted my friends 31st birthday dinner and they really made our party of 7 feel comfortable and welcomed. The food was incredibly well priced and fresh, so, sooo fresh. The cocktails were well made, so try the "il pastino," because its really bright and smooth. The manager checked with us multiple times and kindly informed us of a reservation that followed ours without making us feel pushed out or rushed. Truly professional!!

Upon walking in youre immediately impressed by the tall ceilings, and the bright white interior. I have good Italian friends (real Italian, not Italian American), and this is a favorite spot for them to get a reminder of Neapolitan pizza at home. Ive been here 5 or 6 times and the pizza never disappoints. For the uninitiated, I recommend the DOC, which is the classic margherita. The other favorite amongst my Italian friends is to split a Pizza in Pala Rossa, where you can also split the pie 1/2 and 1/2 with 2 different pizzas. Ive ventured outside the pizza, having had the spaghetti al pomodoro, and although good, Ribaltas strenght is really in their pizza. You cant go wrong.

I went her with friends for my birthday. The gluten free pizza is very good and everyone enjoyed their dinner, however we paid the bill and the server accused us of not tipping (when we politely explained we left 20% on one credit card which he hadnt looked to see) and within a minute of that exchange the manager came over and told us he needed to turn over the table. We hadnt been sitting without food, drink or the bill for more than 90 seconds before we were basically kicked out. It was ridiculous and spoiled the experience.

I highly recommend this place for a great pizza/Italian option in the Union Square area. The restaurant is spacious and looks great for a large group event. Service was quick and friendly. Food was great as well. I recommend the meatballs and potato croquette appetizers. We also shared a personal-sized pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers. There were generous portions of all the toppings and the pizza itself was thin and fluffy with a nice crisp to the crust.

I went to Ribalta MO- there new place in the food mall the pennsy next to penn station on West 33rd Street- wanted to try the pizza there- it i naples style homestyle. I liked it but a little thick for me as I usually get traditional NYC thin sliced cheese pizza- I think the quality was there- a little expensive for me at almost nine dollars a small one person pie with add ons 2 dollars more.this is a good location to have lunch-plenty of seats inside and outside

This place cannot be missed. I am from Napoli, the best place to eat in Italy (hence in the world) and Ribalta in New York is keeping our food tradition at the highest level. Pizza is great but what impressed me the most was the dessert. Try Caprese and Ice Cream in Espresso. Last, they have Ferrarelle water one of the few mineral waters in bottles which are naturally sparkling from the source(!!!) without the addition of any CO 2. Try this one too.

Non solo se sei italiano ma se vuoi mangiare bene io lo consiglio.. proprietari italiani (realmente) dove si può trovare una calorosa accoglienza e una buona cucina con prodotti buoni che solo sud italiani sanno fare

Such a great place to have some decently prepared pizza! Came here for a serious craving, and wasnt even able to finish the last slice! I ordered the mushroom and ham pizza with white sauce, and my guest and I both found it very delicious; not too heavy - but quite filling! Id also say that this is a great spot for a cute date night because of the close, intimate tables, and who doesnt love pizza?

Restaurant à la deco moderne.les pizzas sont assez grandes pour manger à deux dessus. Seul bémol le bruit des conversations qui peux vite devenir oppressant. Prix abordable

Reliably good Napoli-style pizza... From Atlanta. But, always strong crust and flavors. Service leans to the less-than-helpful snooty and/or euro-y "I cant be bothered" but this tends to happen more often than not in Manhattan. The food is good enough to give the service a pass. Have been to 6 times and will again.
