The portion for the lunch special (shrimp fried rice) was so small and frankly speaking not worth the money. Its OK if the server were friendly but they were not. The lady at the counter seemed unfriendly and did not smile at all. The other male waiter was even worse. When I smiled at him, he did not even make an effort to smile back at me. Hello...I am your customer ok and I am paying for my meal and I was being treated like that. Another older woman who passed me the take away food was much more friendly then the others and she even managed to smile at me when I asked her for some chillies. Being someone who travelled quite often, I wont be recommending this place to any of my friends at all. Food was good but due to the small portion and especially the unfriendly staff (the older auntie was fantastic), its a real turn off. I wont be back at all!!!

I absolutely loved New York, and this place will be the only bad memory that I will remember. I went there with my girlfriend and we thought that it looked pretty cool. When we sat down, we got our menus that did not seem really clear. When the waiter came to take our order I asked him two simple questions, like what were the kinds of soups and how big were the plates. He answered to me as if I were an idiot and in a really irrespecutful way. Even a New Yorker guy that was seated next to us told that this was not normal and he even got angry at the waiter. So after this event, we decided to leave immediately. We did not want to give a single dollar to this miserable place

First of all their dishes are quite pricey for the portion. But at least they dont charge for tips. We ordered some noodles. They tasted fine. Then there came this “Pork with Garlic Sauce”. Its a famous dish in Szechuan cuisine and I have always enjoyed it. Considering this restaurant is Hunan cuisine I decided to try it thinking how different it could be. That was a mistake. Its very different, and very bad. Its literally Pork AND Garlic Sauce. Afterwards I asked one of my friends from Hunan about whether their “Pork with Garlic Sauce” is indeed like that. He said hell no.

Very authentic Hunan style Chinese food. 5 stars for the food. The service was really weird, though. They brought out half our dishes pretty quickly and then the we had to wait 20 minutes for the other half. We had eaten all of the first half and hungrily waiting for the second. Eventually they brought out the rest of the food but it was a single dish at a time that we would devour and then have to wait again. The portions were also pretty small.

This is a perfect Chinese restaurant with nice service. If you wanna real Chinese flavor in this area, just come and you will not regret. 如果想吃真正的中国口味,在这个区域来这里肯定每次没错的。

This is our second time to NY and we were in a rush. They were about to close but they treated us very nicely. Not only that, but their place is SUPER clean! After eating, we wanted to pay, including some tips for their hard work, however, they declined. Jimmy, one of the workers said, "Our job is to make our customers happy, so keep your money, its ok:)" So we thanked them and left:)

Food was pretty good. My familys meal came quickly - except for my wife and mine. After 45 mins and asking about our meals, my wifes meal arrived. 10 minutes later I cancelled my meal with out waiter. He then proceeded to bring me my meal (1 hour after we sat down). And he argued with me about accepting it. Im sure the food would have been good. Oh and no apologies

Terrible service and food. Totally a disappointment. I found out three pieces of egg shells in my fried egg rice. However, they told me that it was okay because eggs come with shells. They refused to cancel the fried rice in my order, instead they only gave me discount. The wonton was so dry. The best thing I had was my Diet Coke.

This was actually the worst lunch experience I have had in nyc ... In 5 years! The server told me steamed vegetables were too much work during lunch. They had to be sautéed but she would request lite sauce. When it came it was like the vegetables were in corn starch soup. Then they charged me $2 for sauce that didnt come.

I literally had the worst Chinese food ever in my life. I ordered the beef strip, spicy chicken and noddles and they absolutely ruined those dishes. I came from Sichuan province and those food are not even close. Ill give 1 out of 10 for the food here.

Food is good in general. However, serving size are way too small, it like each dishes are small individual portion. And because they are popular, the waiters will get you the check as soon as you start talking and plates seems empty.

Like many other ratings have described, the portions are very very small. You could spend half that at another restaurant and get twice as much food. Two stars because the sauce used on the sesame chicken was very good.

This place was more an experience than a meal. Some of the food was a little out there for me, but it was well prepared, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I got to try some things I would never have otherwise.

Comida estupenda, hay que probar de todo pero rápido porque tiene demanda. Súper recomendable

Expensive chinese food thats close in taste to what you can actually expect in China, but American Chinatown style service (e.g., rushing you to order, commenting on your tip while you are still there, etc. )

DO NOT COME HERE.The worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in the US. I was shocked by their disgusting and overpriced food and unprofessional service. Wondering how they even survive in Manhattan.

The worst food ever! Not even worth 1 star!!! I would have thought that NY had the best Chinese food but, I wont measure it from this experience. I am ready for something good now that Ive had the worst!

This was my first experience of racial discrimination. My family waited almost 1 hour for our meal, while others seated after us were served. We never received our food. Stay away if you are white.

FAR superior to Olliesjust down the street. We eat Suzchuan all the time and we really like this place. This is a NO tipping restaurant which is a new trend. We ate for 2 for 68! Yummy place......

很好吃,服务态度很好。非常正宗的湘菜,农家小炒肉和湖南吃的几乎一样,会再来

Been there several times and the food is always very good; also both times we were the only non-Chinese/non-Chinese Americans which must mean the food is really good.

逛街后来到此处,总的说来口味还算地道。就是等位等了半个小时。

Excellent Chinese food outside China. We ordered the shredded pork and fish in miso sauce. Amazing taste and flavorful food! Must try if you love Chinese.

Easily the best Chinese youre likely to get in Times Square. They have both authentic and American dishes, beer, and theyre great for groups.

The dishes we had were really good, authentic Hunan food. But the place was too crowded. I would enjoy it more if it had a bit more space.
