Worst location for this otherwise fine business. Not the staffs fault but it is just crowded and they dont have a proper kitchen. Paid way too much money for BS food. DONT GO TO THE BATHROOM. This place is a literal poop emoji. Too expensive Too crowded Too dirty Salad was tasteless Water bottle had mold on the top Glasses are plastic and dirty The cutting board that food came in was dirty, smelled like mold and was falling apart Eating here made me feel sick and thinking about it now is not helping. Everyone that I was with got something wrong with their order. I asked for chicken (which $$$) and you can see the pic, no chicken. The picture looks good but it was so bland and cold, like it had been in a fridge for days. Couldnt complain because the staff was so busy that they kept switching servers on us and I was more worried about my mother getting the thing she had originally ordered. I was so embarrassed that I brought her here... The location is good in theory but its limitations are painfully obvious. I wish they would limit themselves to just serving the excellent coffee and drink that they are known for. A church is not equipped to handle the food side of this business.

I went to the Upper East side location because I read about its beautiful interior renovation, a fact that the Bluestone Lane company seems to be quite proud of. BUT what a total disappointment! The interior decoration is beautiful indeed but its already perverted by careless management!! To begin with, half of the tasteful brass light fixtures now don horrible white light bulbs, that entirely destroy the warm effect of the brass and incandescent light on the sandstone. But by far the worst thing is that they added some kind of crappy boombox to one corner of the café, and when I went they were playing the most horrible electro pop music imaginable, with a deep, disturbing bass. For a second I felt I was in the opening party of T-Mobile store in 125h St... I really dont understand why companies spend big on fancy architectural firms to renovate their stores and then leave all the details in the hands of the waiters. It was an awful experience, to see such a special spot in 5th Av treated like that. Im not going back, and the firm who designed the place should ask for their name to be removed.

I dont know if this was just the server, but the server ignored me and my friend the entire 10 minutes while we were standing patiently to be seated. I dont know what made him to think that we are just standing randomly in front of the entrance, but we were totally ignored. So I tried to let the server know that we are waiting to be seated, and he just totally shut me down by just ignoring and passing by even I totally had an eye contact with him and made a gesture that I want to say something. There were Buch of tables available outside, and I dont know why he didnt let us to take a seat. It was not even a rush hour. I went there like earlier today, which was like 2pm on Wednesday. The server did not even seem busy. Also, it seemed like there were few more servers who are taking care of customers inside. After wasting like 20 minutes in total, we left, and when we returned back our way to somewhere else, people were just getting tables. Not a pleasant experience. Will never visit this place again.

Enjoy a coffee inside an old cathedral with the view of Central Park? The experience here is not only an aesthetic feast for the eyes, the food is on par with its beauty. Gluten free options are available and delicious as are the gluten-full options. Iced or hot, the coffee is unique because of its Australian influence. These are only some of the drinks available here though. They have smoothies and tea as well. They have toast from BALTHAZAR, another local hotspot, and dressed to the nines. Waffles, avocado toast, and granola bowls, oh my! If the food alone doesnt make you smile, take a second to look up and notice the intricate detail of the cathedral turned cafe. Bright chairs mix with the old-world style and transport you to a retro futuristic wonderland. Just steps from Central Park, this cafe helps any tourist or local live a truly, Charmed Life.

This establishment behaved In a completely inappropriate manner. We came here and requested to wait for the next available table for 4 people. The server said that would be fine. The next available table for 4 was occupied by 2 people who appeared about to finish. After 20 minutes of waiting we were told the 2 people sitting at the table who had finished their meal were in fact waiting for additional people. Rather than move this party to a separate table and allow us to make use of the table for 4 appropriately they tried to make my disabled mother accept a bar seat. They wasted our time and acted unprofessionally. I would not patronize them ever again.

Any place that advertises a cortado (here its called a piccolo) is usually a serious coffee place. This place definitely meets that standard-- they know what theyre doing with coffee. The piccolo I got rocks -- creamy and excellent beans. And beautiful art. The customer service stands out as well. Everyone here is friendly and glad to chat. Nice that they have enough people working that theyre not just flying around from table to table with orders. Didnt know they have other locations in Manhattan but now that I know, Ill be getting there.

This was my first of many to come Bluestone Lane visits. It was one of the best Chai Tea Lattes Ive had. They give you a strainer to pull the spices out of your cup. This one is smaller and on a street with lots of foot traffic so it can be difficult to find a seat or work in a group of people. The service is above a standard coffee shops experience with a likeness to fine dining when it comes to service and a casual coffee shop atmosphere. Bluestone Lanes are popping up all over the city and there is no doubt that they will be successful.

Nestled in a vaulted stone chapel of the church above, Bluestone serves a strong coffee and brunch. The ambience makes you want to repent for your sins, but you won’t regret the brew. The coffee and espresso are covet worthy, made fresh on demand. The seats outside evoke European cafes and are even available in the winter, overlooking the park. Perfect for a cup of joe to take while exploring the park or reservoir.

Smooth coffee! Affogato, and Turmeric Latté are amazing! Very friendly staff. This place does not accept their app to pay even for to-go but it is cashless- means- Apple Pay/Samsung pay, & credit cards are accepted! Do not rely on them to close at 6. Please call before going. They close the shop early if they have less customers. Poor experience recently with some staff.

The coffee was solid. Theyre on The New York Coffee Guide so are better than most places around. The service however was enough to make me laugh aloud. It was so so slow just to get two coffees and they werent even busy. Beautiful space, reasonable coffee, nice if disorganised staff, but laughably slow in one of the busiest cities in the world.
