Ive ordered from this place several times and loved it until I got sick twice. I ordered a steak caesar salad and thought the dressing tasted a little different. I should of stopped because I was up all night because of it. Me thinking that it wasnt Colador and possibly something else, I foolishly ordered here again. This time I ordered a tiramisu , my favorite dessert until I bit into it and it was sour. I checked underneath it and found that there was mold growing. I am absolutely disgusted with this place and will never order here again. To make matters worst they refused to give me my money back.

I stayed in Brooklyn last year for 2 months. Vacation and work. I went to Colador probably 5 times a weeks. Peter, Robert and Jackie were always so cool. By the 3rd trip, they remembered my order and were so cool to talk to while I waited for my order. I even purchased 3 mugs from their store that were made by a local artist. These guys rock! The staff was beyond accommodating!! I rarely write reviews, but felt this to be ethically mandatory. I was clearly out of town, they made me feel right at home. The coffee was better than Perú! Cuban was perfection. I felt piggish at the rate I devoured this sandwich. In most cases the side salad is obligatory, in this case it was a delight. Do NOT pass this place up!!

This place still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, a while back I ordered a coffee, when they made my order they had made the wrong coffee, I asked them to change it, the response was very nasty, the manager was extremely nasty with me, I would stay clear of this place, there is plenty of other places you can go get food or a nice cup of coffee at in the area.....

Food is pretty good, service is pretty ridiculous...you will probably sit there for about 10 minutes before anyone even notices you, then another 10 minutes after that, you actually get your order taken. Dont go here if youre starving or have somewhere to go afterwards. And BTW...the chicken noodle soup doesnt have any noodles...

Great space, came here a few times to study and have a cup and a bite. Lots of chairs, was never too crowded for me to find my ideal seat: bar stool with space to spread out some books etc. They also serve beer so the carrot at the end of the stick to finish studying was very, very near.

Oh, sweet, sweet Colador. This is the place I miss most after leaving Bed Stuy. Their garden was my favorite place to read in the spring and summer and I basically completed grad school in their back lounge. The coffee is bomb and the Coladors. TRY ALL OF THE COLADORS!

Really good coffee and one of the few places to get a real bagel in the area. The Coffee is good, but not spectacular same for the food. You do however get a massive portion of pretty decent lasagna. Good selection of fresh juices and spotty wifi and limited plugs...

Food was mediocre. Service was HORRIBLE. Set up like a sit in service restaurant, and I had to order at the counter? Bad hospitality. I ordered my food to go, waited 20 min after I asked to get it to go. Hire more people, fix your website, get your s*@$ together.

This place has a nice vibe and is a different brunch to the typical brooklyn trendy type. The menu is a bit limited, but there is some really nice and decently priced stuff. You can get a toasted baguette and jam with a cup of tea for about $3 or something...

Certianly acceptable - Colador has a big menu for a little cafe, good food. I found the coffee weak and not very good. Free wifi, background music, big screen TV, bar, sit down tables and window seats. Ambiance could use some work, bit of a mishmash.

My two boys and I had a yummy meal here this week. I loved the turkey lasagna, which came with a great side salad, and my kids were happy with the chicken tenders and fries. The decor was funky and the music caliente. Id definitely go back!

I love Colador Cafe, its a great place to set up your computer and get work done using the FREE wifi. The music is alaways on a make you wanna dance station. And I love the food......BLT is my fav!!!
