We moved to the Rockville area few months ago, and we are still searching for a good place to eat. We are fond of Mediterranean cuisine. We found this restaurant over internet. It got 4 plus stars. Wow, must be nice, we thought. What a disappointment!!! We ordered several different dishes: shawarma, kabobs, Moroccan sausage, with rice and fries. First, when we walked into the place, there were no customers there at 6.30pm. Alarming actually. We should have walked out right then. Second, the meat felt like it was prepared way before (I cook at home and I know how freshly prepared meat tastes like), it was hard to chew, over cooked/grilled, lack of flavor, grilled veggies not fresh/juicy. Oh, hummus is awful! The bread was ok. Overall, I would not return to this place. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. I should mention that the place itself is clean, and customer service was fine. I hope they improve on their meals, really.

I had to laugh when I saw that someone else went there because of the Avengers movie. .. lol... My first time eating shwarma. The food was outstanding... falafels amazing, stuffed grape leafs were okay, hummus delicious, shwarma platters were unbelievably good, (I had to leave early but I heard the fried cauliflower was terrific) . The restaurant wasnt much to look at... definitely an informal lunch place. Service was great. overall an outstanding experience. I will definitely be a regular in the future.

Ive been to this location a couple times now and have been nothing but pleased with the experience. Their grape leaves are very tasty. they have the right amount of mint taste. Their Chicken Kabobs platter is served with rice, hummus, salad, cucumber sauce and the best baked pita bread ive yet to have! The chicken is loverly (perfectly marinated). I also tried the Falafel sandwich, and it was delicious. Definitely a place i recommend to people!

The menu here sounds great and the food may be...but I will never know because they didnt deliver my order. They claim to have delivered it, but I am reasonably confident that they are lying (as evidenced by the wails of my hungry children and the marked absence of hot, delicious food in my house). I guess I should have read the reviews and ordered from a restaurant staffed by people with morals.

This place has the fattoush by which I judge all other fattoushes! I usually have the gyros, which have a really good meat mixture. The gyro pita isnt the same kind as you get at a Greek place. Its more of a crusty bread, with spices baked in it. Still good, but not the tender, thick pita I had expected. First time trying stuffed grape leaves, and they were REALLY good!

Ordered delivery 1st time. Meat was dry and cold, Taziki was overly sweet and the pita bread was over cooked. It was black in the middle and so thin it was not edible. The fries and salad were great though. I would maybe try something else later down the line, but this meal was disappointing.

Sorry for the late review I was here back in 2014. These people are Algerian. The food is not good. Im sorry but Im a native to Middle Eastern food (Palestinian/Jordanian and Cypriot). My wife is 100% Algerian and she knew right away there Algerian.

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat Shawarma after Tony Stark raved about it in The Avengers. We LOVED it!!!! The bread was so fresh and tasty, I know I will be going back.

The chicken kabob is good but the hummus just needs some garlic powder and salt it would be perfect if they took the time to fix that. Other than that no complaints:)

Love this place and the family that owns it. They even delivered to us once (to our great surprise) during one of the snowpocolypses (snowpocoli?) a few years back.

Food is delicious. I been there twice and i think i be going back. The food takes a bit to prepare but im ok with wait. Lot better than fast food.

OMG. Super good and got delivered too! I had lamb and Karen had a green bean & potato dish. We really enjoyed it!
