Showed up to have a teriyaki chicken plate lunch...all good so far. Stood there in front of the counter and had to elevated my voice to talk over the employees just standing there laughing and playing. Placed my order and before I could sit down....order was ready. Wow...thats fast....cool. Well...not cool. The teriyaki chicken didnt have any teriyaki and it was like eating cold chicken jerky. I looked for some teriyaki sauce to put on my teriyaki chicken to find.....they were out and making more. Huh??? Whose job was it to check the stock? Needless to say....the "ONO" part of their name should be stricken from their name. Never going back. L&L has always been fantastic and the servings are great there. DONT GO TO ONO HAWAIIAN BBQ.

My review is biased, as I was trying to eat healthy and got a grilled chicken salad. I know right? Hawaiian BBQ fast food and a chicken salad. So lame. But the chicken was tender, not dry, and lots of lettuce. Friends tonkatsu plates looked yummy, but with a to-go order, tonkatsu sauce wasnt given which is a huge part of the dish! Will have to check it out for the more junky plates like fried and fatty plates!

The food is good. Pretty much you get what you expect. The dish is more balanced in nutritional value compared to L&L less than 3 miles away so depending on the person that is good because of veggies or bad because of a bit less meat. It is all relative.

Ok if you want salmonella. Watched the cook put about 5 lbs of raw chicken on the grill then use the same gloved hands to pickup my cooked chicken, slice it and put it in the box with the same raw chicken covered hands..

The food was ok but a little bit too dry during my visit. I couldnt finish the meat and the fried food in my order. They sent out coupon flyer frequently and the price is much better after the discount.

Good, fast service. Most of the food is on the better side of average for a Hawaiian place in the area, but the fresh teriyaki sauce and the island fire chicken are worth going out of your way for.

I went at an off-peak time, but the food tasted like it was fresh. I prefer this over L&L, but wish they had Lau Lau. The crispy white fish and the chicken were both very good, though.
