Take the order, bring the appropriate glass, show me the wine bottle with label toward me, pour. Thats the way it SHOULD be at a wine bar but isnt here. Bartender wasnt trained. Too bad: the place could be awesome: terrific white marble bar counter, nice large monitor screen (where a silent B & W was going on.... very cool), good music, beautiful sunset light.... terrible bar chairs. The starter was tasty and generous but too little Dungeness (being a local crab we should get more), a little much endive. The homemade mustard (seeds before being ground) was delicious. No bread, cracker, grissino to be had for pushing the salad around: "Too expensive". Flatbreads and grissini are easily made IN HOUSE! My entree was a duck confit rillette, you could have fooled me... the consistency was very good but I love a ducky flavor. The toasted bread that came with this was FABULOUS. This is a romantic place and I would return.

Great food but be careful. They look like light bar bites but are very satisfying. Breakfast for Dinner Slider was awesome! Has an old bar feel but classy. Not a bad place to work on your laptop if you can find a slow time to do so. But really its about the food and bar and connecting with those you came with here. Cozy for a date or catching up with friends and family.
