Headed to Hooters on a saturday night after a holiday play. I wanted wings! We arrived and seated ourselves, our table was sticky, and the menu pages stuck together like a teenagers playboy magazine. (should have been our indication to leave right there) Ordered a bloody mary which was more tabasco than tomatoe juice. Mouth was on fire, worst bloody mary Ive had in years. Wife ordered bone in wings, I ordered boneless, my son opted for the grilled cheese. Our food takes twenty minutes to get out (place had maybe 20 - 30 people inside). My wifes wings looked like the remains of a leftover, picked over thanksgiving turkey was battered and deep fried. My wings looked like overcooked triangular chicken cubes. We asked for blue cheese, got ranch. Asked for blue cheese again and it came out with pepper on top of it? It was watery and premade. Even Walmart brand blue cheese tastes better. We tried.... We took one bite and instantly we were done. We are not the kind of people to complain. Wife and myself are both active duty army, weve had our fair share of "bad chow." This was to much. We asked for the check. And this is the only part that I feel they shined. The wait staff (how couldnt they notice) instantly knew my wife wasnt happy. The manager apologized so many times, and we werent mean about our experience, our food and drinks just sucked. Thank god we didnt have to pay for it. Even one of the more experienced waitresses chased us down to apologize as we walked out. So for upper management and more experienced wait staff, I give them an A+ My sons grilled cheese and soda was off the hook he said. So, if I want soda, grilled cheese sandwiches, and tight little outfits Ill go to Hooters. What happened Hooters? Your food used to be good! If I want wings, The Ram or Buffalo Wild Wings is where Im going.

this is a follow up on the last review I posted where the place and service sucked... I AM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS. THE PLACE AND SERVICE WAS AWESOME. The place did not stink to high heaven, and in fact the place looked GREAT... WELL DONE... The service was WOW... she came by 5 times and with a SMILE asked how is everything? Is there anything I can get you? She even asked if we wanted a desert. This is what I have come to expect from a HOOTERS establishment. Freindly service, good food and a nice clean restaurant. The remodel looks great. the place has a more inviting atmosphere. I could go on and on but if you have not been in lately give them another chance. I think you will be surprised as we was. Oh yea. they have NEW BIG SCREEN TVs TOO... and more of them. sounds kind of like a commercial for HOOTERS...lol but like I said we was quite please with the way we was treated and the way the place looked.... again WELL DONE TO THE PEOPLE AT THIS RESTAURANT.... we look forward to seeing you again and soon...

I have come here at many different times and on many different days and get consistently good service and food. Recently, they have many new delicious flavors that you have to try (like Triple Dog Dare and General Tsos) . I always get their bone-in, classic wings with Hot sauce. I want to try the different sauces but the Hot Wings are just so good! The shrimp is also very good here too. I love getting the breaded shrimp tossed in one of their sauces. Recently, they have been adding a lot of healthy options too. Plus, the dessert is good here too. I have never once gotten a bad server. Usually, they are extremely friendly and always want to make sure you get exactly what you want. The outfits can be off putting to some people, but the servers are very friendly and concerned about their diners. If you are familiar to the Hooters establishments you wont be disappointed by this one. Not sure if it is just on Sundays, but we also got a 20% discount the last time we went for being Active Duty Military.

I used to live in Virginia about 12 years ago and went to Hooters out there and the wings were great. So the other day, my friend and I decided to go to the one in Tacoma, hed never been to a Hooters and I hadnt in years. We got there and were quickly seated, and our orders were taken. There were only about 20 people in the whole restaurant. About 30 minutes later, our food arrives and my wings are cold. I didnt say anything, because we only had an hour for lunch. I took a bite of my wings and they ... well ... sucked. I like wings so hot that they peel the clear coat of a car and these tasted like breaded chicken. I had to ask the waitress if she could bring me a side of buffalo sauce. In the past, I could smell the buffalo sauce and itd make my eyes water but Im not sure if they even added any. I was really disappointed and I wont be back.

Went and it really wasnt busy. Plenty of open tables. Sat down gave a drink order immediately, takes about 10-15 minutes to get the beers and waters. Place the order for food and wait....and wait...and wait...and wait. Finally after an hour, we ask what is up because no one is even checking on us. Turns out our order never got placed. So manager places it for us and it takes another 15 minutes. Get our food, all you can eat wings, and immediately place a second order to drop. 30 minutes later we get that 2nd order which was only 5 wings, what the hell!? So we just gave up on all you can eat and just tried to get out of there. Manger gave lousy compensation considering the waitress admitted she forgot to enter it to even be ordered. Stay away from here.

Ordered the texas cheese steak and there was literally an 1/8 of the meat as it showed on picture on the menu. I usually dont ever complain so my girlfriend did it for me. Like a typical women who likes to complain. the waitress came back and said that was the standard issue of meat on it and that if i wanted extra they would charge me for it. I then responded that i didnt want it at all. She came back with the texas cheese steak off the bill, And appoligized. 5 min later she walked up with what should have been my first philly cheese steak and told me is was free. Our waitress sage was extremely polite! In the end i am pleased but i would of rathered pay for my food and get it right the first time instead of going threw this...

We sat at the bar and had terrible service. Our wings took forever to get and when we did get them they were cold. The bartenders were slow and we had to wait and wait for refills. One of their own employees had brought in a couple of boxes of supplies and he had to wait so long for the bartender that he got fed up with waiting and walked off. My friend was charged for beer that he did not get and had to have his bill adjusted. Service here is almost as bad as going to the Tilted Kilt. It seems that chain restaurants like these have really forgotten where there bread is buttered. All the more reason to look for mom and pop establishments that have better service and quality.
