I came up to San Rafael for a business trip and made a stop in here on a Wednesday night. After 8pm the house band started playing and the music started flowing. The band was AMAZING! The drummer, bass, guitar, keyboard and sax player were wonderful. What was even better, is around 9:30pm they brought up people from other musicians that were there for an semi open mic night. I cant wait to go back to the Fenix on a wednesday to enjoy the great food and listen to some wonderful music.

THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL! San Rafael needed a place like this. I have no idea how much money was spent to open The Fenix, but it must have been a ton. No detail was over looked. We were impressed before we even walked through the doors and then it got even better. The food, the service, the drinks (I had the Fenix Rising) and the music were to die for. We were there on several Wednesday nights which featured Blues. Comfort food for the soul!
