We were able to get a great and filling breakfast for $25 for 2, including tip. Every single employee was friendly. The food tasted great. Plenty of grease and salt. The syrup actually came in a squeeze bottle, rather than a tiny cup (I had plenty, which doesnt happen often). We sat at the counter and watched the cook. He was fascinating -- made cooking look like an aerobic event. It wasnt a spotless place (and the cooking utensils were used over and over without washings), but that added to the character. There is only one bathroom and it is accessed by walking through the kitchen/storage area. There was quite a line at one time, but everyone was so friendly that I didnt mind. If you want fine linens and candles, this isnt your place. If you like road-side cafes while sight-seeing, this is your breakfast/lunch spot!

"Greasy spoon" kind of place which we love. Had to wait a bit for our food but it turned out delicious and they brought me warmed syrup for my French toast so it was worth the wait. The staff here run their tails off!

The service is great! We went because we saw the Christmas movie "The Christmas Card" and some of the scenes were filmed there. The crispy curly fries are the best. My husband loves their omletes.

Nice little mom and pop shop, with good food. The lady who runs it is hilarious and she was a big part of our enjoyment of the place. I also liked that they offer organic eggs. We will be back!

The Classic is awesome. The food is excellent and the staff is even better. The prices are more than fair and you cant beat hanging in Nevada Citys beautiful downtown.

Great crepes! Try the caifornia classic. Perfectly poached eggs and thats hard to find anywhere under $20 a plate
