Sorry, Alex and most of the guys at Amicis. You are AMAZING. And usually the pizza is great. But today, something happened to me that makes me lose faith in everything I believed about Amecis. I called at 3 for delivery of a Margarita Pizza and other items. I paid $50 with the delivery tip and all the items were barely warm, there was no basil on the Margarita pizza (again!) AND the pizza smelled like FECES. I took it back and got another. I complained to the girl at the desk but the guy in the kitchen was LAUGHING when I returned it! I cant believe this. I WILL follow up with the owner and Im sorry, but Im going public with this! HOW DISGUSTING and dangerous this was. And the reaction? UNacceptable!

Pizza is ok. I am from New York, so far I cannot find a place in cali that I would give more than 3 stars. I was ordering from here normally but then my order kept getting screwed up. Every time I would ask for my pie cooked well done, I would get home and it was not even cooked. So I started to check the pie before I left, something that I shouldnt have to do and most of the time the pie was raw. So they would have to put it back in to cook. It got to the point that I stopped ordering from here because it was not worth the hassle. Overall the pizza is okay but just get it right when I ask for something.

They were advertising on groupon for a "groupon now" deal, where I paid $9 for $12 of food at their restaurant. I printed the voucher and presented it to the guy at the counter after ordering my food. He said, "we dont accept groupon deals". I said, "well, then why are you advertising them on groupon"? He called the manager and they still wouldnt accept my $3 off coupon/voucher. Feeling mislead, I told them to cancel my order then. I cant believe they were willing to turn away business and receive a bad review on Google over $3. That was my first and last time at Ameci pizza. Bad business...

They sell pasta, but I wouldnt say its good pasta. The portions are big. Everything came out piping hot. It comes with a side of bread. I really like the potato munchers appetizer. Its basically fried potato and cheese balls. Overall I think its overpriced for mediocre pasta, but its convenient and fast (because you can call your order in ahead of time), and sometimes thats what you need to get the family fed on a busy day.

Im so over this pizza place. Years of coming here and I only order the margherita pizza. They cant get it right, hardly ever! It is the most expensive pizza in town! They never put basil on the pizza! The owners are never accountable, I am never credited or granted a discount when they screw up- they should KNOW the menu!They NEVER hold themselves accountable. It is just stupid. Im done

The BEST pizza ever! Ive been to so many pizza places because of my husbands pizza obsession, but this place, this specific Ameci has my heart. I used to love down the street and would get it any time... Now I live more than an hour away, so whenever were on town its a MUST to get their pizza.

The girl at the cashier was extremely rude, bad attitude and lacked any customer service and grab the money right out of my hand when I handed it to her. Furthermore, our pizza was so salty and tasted terrible. We will not come back to this place anymore. If this is how they treat customers.

I have been going here for 14 years and on average I am in there ordering a peperoni Giante pizza and in all those time I maybe had 2 pizzas that were off a bit. The pizza is great here and recommend it to everyone.

Bottom line: the pizza is good. Their service could be better, but I just pick it up there and leave. Check their website, they always have coupons that will save you on their somewhat overpriced pizza.

Its good old fashioned pizza - the fresh local kinda stuff you got as a kid for a birthday or after game celebration. Bonus: they deliver AND the other stuff on the menu (lasagna, etc.) aint bad either!
