When we arrived, they said it would be about a 10 minute wait. We could see many empty tables. So we were a bit confused. But Im sure they have their reasons. Anyway, it was only about a 3 minute wait, so no loss. They have several TVs, all around with ball games and surfing on. There is a bar in the middle, with tables and booths all around. It was pretty clean. Our table was a tad bit sticky. But, looked clean. The staff was super friendly, and checked on us often. Food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Malibu burger. I added the "reds" which are fried and battered onions. They are a buck to add. They are good. But made my burger HUGE! I had to really smash it down. It was delicious though. I really liked it. They cooked the burger perfect, to my liking. I dont like meat to have any pink. And it did not. The fries are super good, and they are unlimited. How cool is that?!!? The raspberry tea is a bit bland, and you taste very little raspberry. We got an order of the slaw, do not confuse it with coleslaw. It is nothing really like coleslaw to me. It has a ton of cilantro, which my husband absolutely hates. I happen to love it so the stuff was absolutely amazing. You mostly taste the cilantro and onion. Just read the description of it because its not going to be what you expect. Hubby got the BLT with avocado. It comes on a hamburger bun, which is kinda weird. It was good. But small, and not worth the price. Although, they do put a good amount of bacon. Just need a different bread. It made me think of a hamburger, without the patty. They have a lot of great selections. I think we will definitely be back. They have a "secret" seasoning on the table, that is very salty, with a taste of garlic. I recommend tasting it, before putting it on your food.

The Islands at this location has been here since I can remember. Every time I go in here, the staff is friendly and the service is great! Ive never had to ask for a refill and, although the food offerings havent changed all that much over the years, the menu choices are awesome! I love coming here and ordering their infamous Hawaiian Burger (with pineapple) and a Coke. Their nachos are ridiculously tasty as well! Their desserts are the best, especially their chocolate brownie sundae... mmm! Whether youre up for a great burger, nachos, soft tacos, or anything else offered, youll be satisfied and full by the time you leave. Dont forget: the seating in the bar area is first-come, first-serve so if you dont feel like waiting for a table, take a seat at the bar or at one of the many high-top tables surrounding the bar!

Ive been to many Islands restaurants for many years and its been my favorite burger chain for a while. For this location, I tend to go sit at the bar which is open seating so no waiting for a table. They also have TVs at the bar which is usually playing some sports matches if youre into that. My go to pick for burger there is the Hula burger which is basically a mushroom burger thats really good. That paired with unlimited fries or onion rings is pretty much heaven. These days Islands also has craft beer so if youre into that, Id highly recommend ordering one to go with the burger.

The service was great but the food was terrible. I go to Islands all the time in Calabasas and Newbury Park, but have never had anything bad until tonight. I think my 5 year old and I both have food poisoning. The food tasted different. I shouldve known better than to eat when it tasted different but had not eaten so I dealt with it. Now I regret it. The quality of the food was terrible. Definitely will not be gping back.

I havent been here in a while and they have definitely improved. Hamburgers are great. They have the standard choices and a few nice surprises. They now have a white bun option along with the whole wheat and it is delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly. French fries are natural cut with some skin and lightly seasoned. Good value. Casual dining. Good burgers

When you need a cool place to Feel like a Surfer... When its 95 degrees outside and you want to chill with a Cold Drink or Shake... When you got 90 minutes to sit and enjoy the Hawaiian Atmosphere... Reflecting on our Trip to Maui; Tony DeGrazier is still helping my wife and I eat a delicious meal in an Islands theme.

Has a great vegetarian burger. I like to add their thousand island sauce to it. Their fries are good and refillable but they give you so much you probably wont need it. Serves the rarely seen Mr. PIBB. They have a bar area where you can watch sports instead of watching surf videos the whole time

It was undescribable!!!! Every thing was perfect and goooddd there chicken wings with the sauce is BOMB!!! I would eat there every day if I had the money. Also the best part there is if you order the fugue Browns with ice cream. Over all every thing is perfect and amazing .

Worse service I ever got. I was served a soda with a sugar packet inside. Then I got told it happens all the time and they usually catch it. Someone call the health inspector because they dont deserve an A , B, or C rating. Avoid this place and go to Red Robin.

Their burgers are delicious and their kids meals are ok as well, but on a slow night you may have a hard time catching the attention of the servers. At least they have nice new tvs for when you are waiting for someone to look in your direction.

I couldnt believe that an expensive restaurant with advertsing especially its burger would be so mediocre. go accross the street and get a 3 by 3 for half the pice. The bun was especially burnt and the burger was charred. I orded medium.

Their food quality is very consistent. I ordered the Hula bunless lettuce wrap with a fried egg and it was delicious! Service was excellent. They mixed up our drinks but were quick to fix it and always with a smile on their face.

Sadly, put onions when asked not too. I can tolerate, they ignored me and my gf and didnt refill nor make sure it was good I put 3 empty cups by the edge and still no help till the end. Thanks but, no thanks

I love Islands fries! Give me a side of ranch and I could just fill up on that. Good thing they have unlimited fries. The burgers are always delicious and its more than enough more one person.

Great service the bartenders are the best also meet Nicole new management she was very friendly and very professional. You pay for what you get! Not the cheapest but its worth it.
