The Metro is a great place for a nice lunch as the food is consistently good and they deliver. However, I was amazed to see that my coworkers and I were charged $1.50 because our bill was over $50. This was on top of the $3 delivery charge. I would think a local restaurant would be thrilled that we ordered over $50 worth of food on a Monday afternoon but apparently not the Metro. Apparently its an inconvenience to cook multiple orders, an inconvenience worth charging a petty $1.50. Personally, I spent $10 on a salad its not that another $1.50 is going to break the bank. Its just the principle of it that really bugs me. Dont worry Metro, Ill be sure spare you the hassle of preparing over $50 worth of goods for me and not order from you in the future.

I really loved this restaurant, to bad I wont be ordering from there any longer. Their food has always been great and we have had good service when we have dined in. I placed an order to be delivered the other day and gave my phone number which I have used before for a delivery to my place of employment. But when I needed to add my home address for this delivery I learned this was a difficult process. The order taker (I believe it was the owner) stated I NEED to specify that at the beginning of the order and couldnt I use a different phone number. He really gave me a hard time about this. Later when my food was delivered I was once again asked for another phone number. What ever happened to good customer service?

This is a nice little place in Joliet where everything is good, service is great, and now with the new renovations I would highly recommend checking this place out. The only thing holding this back from being a 5 star rating is that while the food is good, and they have a nice menu is that you can find better of just about everything here somewhere else in Joliet. Having said that the food is still very good, and despite what it looks like on the outside (A rundown shack) the inside is gorgeous. If youre near Essington Road or going out that way looking for something not a cheap chain spot go here youll be happy you did.

Oh my gosh, you beautiful people! Metro Grill & Bar is the best place. The service is great and very fast, and this was on a very busy evening too! I was surprised at the quickness, truly surprised. And I was doubly surprised when our friendly waiter kept apologizing about how slow the food was to come! I can only imagine how fast the service is on a regular day/time! I had the Meatloaf and Corn Cakes meal. It was very hearty and delicious. The meatloaf was very moist and and slightly sweet. The corn cakes were absolutely delightful. I definitely reccomend this place to everyone.

First time eating here, my mother ordered a Reuben and I ordered a Turkey wrap with a bowl of Creamy Chicken with Wild Rice soup. My mother was very happy with hers, especially with how much corned beef there was, fries were on the mushy side but not bad. My turkey wrap was a good size, kind of bland but with some mustard was really good. Took the other half home and added some tomato which made it all the better. The soup was one of the best Ive eaten, such a large bowl compared to other places, and took me the whole meal to finish it. Definitely will be going back.

“Our Joliet Adventure” Came to see Mannheim Steamroller at the Rialto Theater. We thought wed go to the Tin Roof restaurant for dinner. Wrong, they were full. Being strangers to Joliet we didnt want to stray too far from the theater. My wife, with her highly sensitive nose found the Chicken-N-Spice restaurant. The store front isnt much to look at, which made me...

“Awesome steak house” This is a very nice place to go to. If you are celebrating something special or just a causal dinner. They have something for you. They have rooms available for party also. The food is good and plenty of it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They take good care of your needs. We will definitely go there again when...

Cons: Closes at 9, food is good but not exceptional. Pros: Get there before 9 and you get something rare - a good non-chain eatery in this part of Joliet. They were very accommodating of our larger group and always friendly, even when we stayed an hour past closing, and helped us find a place to relocate at that time. I would return.

Weve been to Metro several times now and have always enjoyed it. Reasonable prices, good food, nice atmosphere. I love their Twisted Turkey sandwich and would recommend getting mashed potatoes & gravy as your side item - its like Thanksgiving on a sandwich. They also have some outdoor seating if youre into that kind of thing.

Just tried the Metro for the first time, based on the reviews I read. the decor was nice, service was good, and servers were friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I really enjoyed the Reuben soup, the Philly Cheese-steak was one of the best Ive ever been served. Prices were reasonable. Ill be back.

What a great evening dinner! I would love to just talk about the Deep Fried Bacon. AMAZING! But it didnt just stop there. Wonderful staff, delicious cocktails and a very tasty dinner. We got there at a great time in between reservations, but I would call in advance next time just to be sure.

Loud atmosphere and the food is limited and takes for ever to come. The dinning area surrounded by bars which means the place is not child friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone but they get 2 starts because heavy drinkers probably love it here.

Fair amount of choices, but there are entrees that they, obviously, prepare better than others. Their menu claims their ribs are "famous," but I think that a big stretch. Good burgers, soups, and general fare. They offer thin ribboned

The food is pretty good and the service excellent. The setting itself is nice - what you expect for a trendy place. The appetizers are good. Overall a good place and worth a short drive if youre in the area.

Ordered a french dip with au jus and it sucked! Will never go back! Nice waitress but the food was terrible. My wife had the philly cheese panini and it wasnt good either. Didnt even need to go containers. Pass

High end restaurant with food that was worth it. Our table had steaks and seafood. No one complained and everyones plate was cleared. Staff did not rush us out so we were able to make an evening of it.
