I live just a block away from the restaurant, and have ordered from them many times. Over the years, the prices have gone up, and the quality and quantity of the food has plummeted. Tonight, after working late, I ordered a dinner combo and a side of spicy wings. After getting home, I saw that the "dinner combo" was a container of cold rice and some random coagulated sauce. Opening the container of wings, I found two dried, shriveled bits of chicken. So I walked back to the restaurant, only to have a young woman lock the door and turn off the "Open" sign right in my face. Ill go hungry before I order from them again.

Received the wrong order so I did what every other paying customer would do. I called them and they insisted that they did not screw up the order. I even asked them if they thought I was lying to them. The fact that it got to that point is terrible customer service. The customer is always right. This business does not practice good ethics. Not to mention it will for sure take over 45 minutes everytime* to recieve your order. PS- The manager told me she didnt care if I ordered from there again. Applause for being an idiot.

For the price and convenience, 5 stars hands down. Try the crab ragoons, I have never found better. Also, to my knowledge they dont get in trouble with the FDA like some others in town. I have been ordering from Huan Xi lately, and I can say that they both have their own "awesome" dishes as well as some not-so-awesome dishes. Try them out and see what works for you. Usually anytime I order delivery (I would not recommend sitting in) the time has been almost exactly what they guessed.

There is only one authentic Chinese restaurant in the Milwaukee area, and that is Beijing House in Pewaukee, so I will not downgrade Number 1 for catering to American tastes. As a purveyor of American-style Chinese food, Number 1 does a very good job. The food is fresh, inexpensive, and prepared quickly. I recommend the Sichuan (Szechuan) chicken, hot and sour soup, and mixed vegetables as a well-balanced, inexpensive family meal. Staff is very friendly.

I am not too sure what the hype is surrounding this restaurant. I went for the first time yesterday and such a visit will definitely be my last. The service was very poor and the food was mediocre. Lee Kongs Chinese Fast Food seems to be the ONLY No. 1 Chinese restaurant around. If you want great Chinese food at a reasonable price, go there. This place on the other hand, sucks.

When in search of "American Chinese" food, check out No 1 Chinese Restaurant! Fast, reliable, reasonably priced food! (I recommend Shrimp Chow Mein Fun.) My only complaint would be that the dishes arent always consistent and food can sometimes be too hot when places in delivery/ takeout containers and the food has the plastic taste attached to it.

I will never waste good earned money on this place called a restaurant. I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young ad got Onion Egg Foo young, it was absolutely terrible. The White rice they provide was gummy, and please do not order the Egg rolls, a total waste. Go to Royal Garden in Whitefish Bay. You will not be disappointed.

The food is constantly late. I called to ask and no one spoke fluent English and I was laughed at and hung up on after an excuse of "not remembering" my order because there were so many orders. This isnt the first time. I shouldnt feel disrespected or forgotten when I am a customer. Ever.

We took a leap of faith on this restaurant and was not disappointed. Their honey chicken is great, the best Ive ever tried. All the food is flavorful. Some menu items are a little pricey but it wont break the bank. This is the best Chinese restaurant Ive had in the Milwaukee area.

I was so happy about the food Ive odered there. The ingredients are fresh. Especially the delicious crab rangoon it is so amazing. There price is fair and reasonable. It will be my only chinese restaurant for now on. Just go and try you will like it.

average quantity Chinese food but their traditional Szechwan style foods are really good. Try it if you like something spicy any hot. Whats more, the staffs there are really kind and helpful.
